I wonder if UV resin would work for the drops too? I don't see why not. But this is so awesome that you came up with this idea! I love the effect and I'm gonna definitely try this. Thanks so much!

Actually this is a evolution of UV resin technique that I made many moons back. I will link that video for you on that one I did the drops on top of resin coaster so actually I was experimenting on that one when I played with this one . You can use UV resin it will be more fast to make but I do get asked a lot as lot of people don't have UV resin at hand or don't like it.

I was just thinking that myself! As she was doing the micas I was thinking, why not use uv resin to make the drops so that you don’t have to wait for them to cure!
