What a great idea! I can’t stand putting bowls in the microwave because they get so hot! I usually use 2 so I don’t get hurt, one for heating and one for eating out of, lol. Thanks Amy!

No I used acrylic and it was fine in the microwave

Yes but it may lose the stretch and grip around the bowl effect.

What kind of yarn did you use? Cotton? Acrylic that’s discouraged on other patterns?

I used redheart acrylic but you can use cotton or both, and acrylic is fine to use int the microwave.

I would like to know where you get fireproof yarn. I know I saw info about the sewn ones requiring the fireproof for use in microwave.
