Hello, I love how you teach. I also really like how it is so easy to see the stitches in your videos. I do have a question. What kind of yarn are you using? I am not happy with the yarn I am using. It is too dark and slightly fuzzy (wool and acrylic) so it is hard to see the stitches. Your yarn, not only looks pretty, but it does not have the fuzz that my yarn has. Can you tell me the brand, type or name of the particular yarn and the fiber(s)? Thank you.

Hello! Thank you so much for the tutorial. They are all wonderful and easy to follow! May I ask if all of the granny squares you made are in the same size as I would like to make a blanket with different patterns? and do you think I can use much more bulky yarn (like the yarn with6.5mm crotchet hook) with this pattern? Thank you so much in advance! 😊
@AdoreCreaCrochet
@AdoreCreaCrochet 3 ай бұрын
Hi there! I'm thrilled to hear that you're enjoying the tutorials! Regarding your questions, the granny squares I've demonstrated are in different sizes, but some are in similar sizes. As for using bulkier yarn with a 6.5mm crochet hook, absolutely! You can definitely adapt the pattern to accommodate thicker yarn and a larger hook size. Just keep in mind that the overall size of your squares and the finished blanket may differ from the examples shown in the tutorials. Feel free to explore and customize the patterns to suit your preferences! And if you have any more questions along the way, don't hesitate to ask. Happy crocheting! 😊

I'm always looking for new ways to make donation blankets using the continuous method, I've made far too many moss stitch continuous squares lately lol. Can this be used to make a blanket size? I know some don't work going that large. If so, would it help to turn after each row to avoid it from going wonky?
@AdoreCreaCrochet

That sounds like a fun project!🥰 The continuous method can definitely be used to make a blanket of any size. I have made several blankets like this. I never use the turn the work. It does not get wonky. Best of luck with yor project 😊Happy crafting! 🧶

@@AdoreCreaCrochet I’ve made a small blanket about 30 inches square and it’s rippling. If anyone is going to keep going to make this into a blanket suggest about every 3rd row only do two DC in the corners so you are added fewer stitches, which will hopefully stop it from rippling. I should have known better, will have to start over, the one I’ve finished isn’t very nice. Live and learn!

Why does my corner ends curl up in the last row and square is uneven?
@AdoreCreaCrochet
@AdoreCreaCrochet Жыл бұрын
It´s difficult to say for sure. But if you follow the pattern correctly it shouldn't happen. It may also have something to do with the crochet tension. However, it is always a good idea to block the squares at the end, to make all the edges completely even and straight.🙂
