I just want to say if this is anyones first time, its overwhelming. It took me so long and multiple tries. What helped me was slowing down the video and taking my time. Don’t loose hope!

The uh heart I made looks more like a blue raspberry and it took many attempts but I did something! And probably learnt a bit in the process too. Shoutout to my other friends who didn't get this right away ♡ Don't give up, it's okay to take things slow and not accomplish things at the same speed as others.

I've been crocheting for a couple months now but I visited this tutorial only a couple days in and I completed it. I've come back to it now and I don't know how I did it, I thought I just learnt today how to to a double and triple crochet but apparently I was doing them all the way back at the beginning without realising. This tutorial is great! apparently what you wanna look for is like "absolute beginner" like this one because all the "beginner" tutorials assume you have basic understanding on how to do stitches so theyre like "do a magic circle and 18 double-triple-magic-super-loop-stitches, and some square-knot-triangle stitches and blah blah" and meanwhile you're sitting there like whats a stitch also, I personally always feel like tutorials go way too fast but this one is the exact right speed to see most thinigs without feeling like "come on already I get it" also my tip for everyone looking for tutorials like me is adjust the speed settings and make it slower if you need to see something slower

I just started to learn crochet yesterday and this was my first project and let me say after countless times repeating the video after I kept mistaking and forgetting the num I was on I FINALLY DID IT!!! Thank you for explaining every step and repeating it!!

DAY 4 and i finally figured out how to do this. keep trying because on my first day i couldn’t even get the magic ring right and now i just finished making my first perfect heart crochet!!!! patience and practice is the key. AND THE RESULT IS TOTALLY WORTH IT!!

okay guys, i see so many people commenting that they are stuck :( so a lil trick for the magic ring - instead of doing the usual magic ring, chain 2, then chain the no. of chains you need to crochet into the first chain. this might be a little bit confusing, so for this specific tutorial, chain two, then chain 4 into that 1st chain. this helped me SO MUCH, because i cannot make a magic circle for the life of me. hope this helps! ❤

Thank you for breaking down each stitch in such a detailed manner! I didn't realise that I was doing it wrong at first. When doing the treble crochet, I did a yarn over twice and inserted it into the magic ring, then pulled yarn through two loops. Didn't realise I was missing a step. Other videos don't break it down, they just tell you treble crochet, which leads me to this mistake. So thanks for your detailed vid!
