How to crochet a Moon for beginners. Step by step tutorial.
I used medium size 4 acrylic yarn
Crochet hook: 4.25 mm
Abbreviations used:
Ch - chain
Sl st - slip stitch
Sc - single crochet
Hdc - half double crochet
Dc - double crochet
Tr - triple crochet

for those who dont want to sit thru the full video !! starting: slip knot, ch 16 round 1: sl st in 2nd ch from hook 1 sc x 3 2 sc 1 sc x 2 2 sc 1 sc x 2 2 sc 1 sc x 3 sl st into last ch round 2: sl st 1 sc 1 hdc 2 dc 1 dc 2 dc 1 dc 2 tr (treble/triple crochet) 1 tr 2 tr 1 dc 2 dc 1 dc 2 dc 1 hdc 1 sc sl st & fasten off !! ty so much pora pora for the tutorial! ❤❤

used it and great pattern! for the vision i was going for the 3th round wasnt needzd so i left it out and i have a beautiful moon belt now!

If you want it to curve less, start with a chain that it more loose. Hope this helps 😊

After you complete the moon..You could always add a few rows single crotchets to the back of the moon.

If you want to add a nose: Put a standing single crochet in the center of the moon, where the original chain is. Single crochet in the stitch next to it, chain one and turn, then SC decrease
