I watched this while I worked on a knitted hat today. Such a cute project and your instructions are clear and concise!

I made one, and now I am working on a second one for my other grandson. But this time I am doing the single crochet stitches slightly differently. I saw another amigurumi tutorial where instead of yo after you insert the hook for the single crochet you yarn under, pull it through then yo the 2 loops on the hook.

Hi Terri watched all the lefthand tutorial it just fascinates me watching lefthand. Just in case I need to crochet lefthand, had to learn to do things left handed guess I'm a little ambidextrous lol comes in handy lots of time. Thank you and God Bless

I was looking at other patterns for the octopus and one person said that cotton yarn would be better because the fibers could get in the babies mouth or fingers. Plus the also said a babies toe was damaged because they are so tiny. If using regular yarn it would be ok for a bigger baby. A full term. We are having twins in the family and they will be premature do I will use cotton. Just a heads up. Thank U.
