I learned crochet a few months ago and I hadn't found a nice project to make for my mom yet. This is perfect. I've had the beautiful yarn the whole time, a gorgeous silky gold/green/copper yarn. I will try this. It's so elegant

Thank you 🪻 I wonder if I should try a 3mm hook first. The yarn I want to use is the finer, silky type. I will go try 3 and 4. I'm excited. This is a beautiful piece. Edit: 3 was too small, and 4 still feels a bit tight. I'll try 4.5 and 5..
