Thank you for telling me to be patient. I’ve been crying trying to teach myself

Me too emily! It can be super frustrating but we definitely do need to stay patient! Just like with so many other things in life!

You are so patient and thank you so much for teaching at a slower pace. I've watched many video's on crocheting and truthfully I think some just want to show off how fast they can go LOL. Thank you for being a good teacher.

This was an awesome project. I have not crocheted in years and then it was only dish clothes. This was easy to do and turned out beautifully. I appreciate your very clear instructions.

Now I understand the yarn under is something that makes this blanket different from others. I’m looking forward to trying this project.

Do you add into every stitch or do you do the second one from the hook every time?

What is the benefit of doing a yarn under? I don’t see any difference between that and the yarn over.
@nancyherman5703 жыл бұрын
I am wondering the same thing
@sanatanpatra57112 жыл бұрын
there is no benefit of doing a yarn under, both look the same.

I think it changes the size of the stitch and supposedly the way it looks a bit.

What size hook is it

I’m confused. On the second row do you stitch into first or second stitch
@lesliedefilippis21502 жыл бұрын
I am a bit lost. I see what you mean by a yarn under. Yet to me it looks as though you do a yarn under, then do a yarn over while you say yarn under for the second stitch in the chain.

That is exactly what I am thinking watching this.

Oh goodness I want to try this but I can see myself continuing to yarn over instead of yarning under!!! 🤣 Still a great video and I love the boarder! I wish more people would post more videos on boarders!!!

Hi! I'm a beginner crocheter and I'm following this tutorial cause I have the bernat 6 super bulky, 8mm yarn. I'm using an 8mm hook and my tension is to tight. I'm not sure how to loosen it without losing my chain. Can I get some advice? Please and thanks!
@amykuku2 жыл бұрын
My foundation chain also starts to curl as I'm working on the next 1st row. Is that because it's to tight!?
@vondastrauser44282 жыл бұрын
Try a bigger hook for the chain foundation and then go back to the regular hook.
@Kfclark1432 жыл бұрын
Amy-mine usually does too but it will start to flatten out once you add more rows. I use one hook size bigger for my foundation.

For some of us beginners, the loop part is hard. So I was not able to keep up to learn.
