Amazing! Love it! I learned how to crochet from my great grandmother. I was 7 years old and she was 81 yers old. She would have been over the moon to learn this stitch. At 81 she was all about learning new things and sharing what she learned. She lived to 105 years old.

Great tutorial. ! It’s so frustrating for me when I’m learning a new technique in crochet because I’m advanced so if I look up “Beginners C2C” I find loads of videos for people who have just begun to crochet and the videos are very slow and include so much information that I’m not looking for! I just need a quick basic tutorial! And this was absolutely perfect thank you so much! Quick and to the point but also clear!

I too struggled to keep up and so this is my third listen. I got the parts of the C2C down but not turns - the orientation. But I've discovered that on the bottom of the video window, is an icon that looks like a gear. It brings up a settings menu. You can slow the speed down. At .5 she sounds a bit drunk but at .75 it's quite nice. A good learning speed! Enjoy.

I slowed it down to 0.25 because I kept falling behind. At this extreme low speed I figured out that it is hard to follow not because the speed. Rather it is because sometimes she pauses her speech and does e.g. three double crochets and only after she has done the hand movements she announces what she has done. edit: you're going to do three double crochets.... *starts double crochet-ing* ... BUT FIRST chain 3

For me This is the best C2C tutorial I have come across and I have tried many - in fact I had given up on C2C so THANKYOU - your voice is a joy to listen to - slow enough to follow although there is a always the ‘pause’ button - very clear understandable instructions especially the change of colour and decreasing. Now crocheting is my joy comfort and relaxation !! I can now do C2C 👍

Easy to follow at first, but that was following exactly along. I completed the first square. When I did the color change, I started a new square, but immediately lost place when your video ended! I am not advanced. I really would have appreciated the remaining purple demonstrated, in order to practice the decrease, as I’m left now with confusion not understanding how to finish the square. EDIT: I finally got it; I needed to turn my work. Now to redo until I can remember it on my own. Thank you for this. Even though beginner, I too appreciated the no BS approach!

Great tutorial! For beginners, you can slow it down even more. Just click on the Settings icon (the cog wheel on lower right of video) then select Playback Speed. Try .5 speed

Thank you! I had done C2C previously and had some trouble. The edge wasn’t coming out straight. I was refreshing my mind with your tutorial and that part at the beginning of each row with THE FLIP has solved my problem. Awesome video!
