Ever wonder how to crochet the vintage stitch pattern from the Taylor Swift dress by VRG GRL? (By the way, it's pronounced Verge Girl.)
In this video I'll show how to make the crochet granny stripes stitch pattern. This is a vintage stitch pattern that was used in the VRG GRL crochet dress worn by Taylor Swift in London. Plus I'll show some tips and tricks to making the dress itself. It's sparingly easy, since it consists mainly of 4 rectangles. One for the front, one of the back, one for the left sleeve and one for the right sleeve.
For my sample I'm using a 100% acrylic worsted weight yarn and a size 4 mm crochet hook because my sample will end up as a blanket. Feel free to use any other size yarn and crochet hook. For clothing, I recommend a Sport weight or DK weight yarn, with the corresponding crochet hook size, usually found on the yarn label.
