how to crochet miffy (beginner keychain tutorial)

Abbreviations (US):
mc: magic circle
sc: single crochet
sl st: slip stitch
inc: increase
dec: decrease (invisible)
Materials:
- white yarn (i'm using BERNAT size 4)
- 5.0 mm hook
- stitch marker
- sewing needle
- scissors
- stuffing
- black yarn
- black thread
- key ring
PATTERN:
(Head)
R1: 6 sc into mc, sl st
R2: 6 inc (12)
R3: [sc, inc] x6 (18)
R4-6: sc x18 (18)
R7: [sc, dec] x6 (12)
R8: dec x6 (6)
stuff head, sew shut.
(Ears)
R1: 4 sc into mc, sl st
R2-3: 4 sc (4)
cut, stuff ears with yarn. repeat R1-3 for second ear.
sew ears to head, embroider eyes and mouth - all done! :)

You Can make any crochet in any yarn, its just going to be bigger or smaller

Hi! Do I start the increase in the slip stitch? I’m not sure if that makes sense, but after making the slip stitch I have 7 stitches which gives me 14 in the second row…
