It is that flat type of beginner yarn. Not teeshirt yarn but if you look up beginner yarn for crochet, you should be able to find it. Makes it easy for beginners to see the stitches, I get why ppl filming tutes would use it. So smart.

I’m confused. After the first town you say chain one and slip stitch in the front loop but on the video you slip stitch into the back loop. Or am I looking at this the wrong way? It’s a beautiful pattern and I’m following along in making one just want to make sure I do it right
