When I preach I get excited when I get excited I get loud. The thing is it feels awesome and I understand why people get carried away. I don't understand why people get turned off by it. I just love it, it's a good time for me. I can listen to someone like Prince and a loud person.

To me, it depends on the message they are preaching. There are many false teachers/prophets, so I get disappointed more than anything to see them with many people in their congregation…

@@wesleynunez3825 that is true false prophets misuse good things. But they serve a purpose, though it is heart breaking to see. False prophets gather false believers, so a good number of their followers are false converts themselves. I used to follow and was also carried away, but I began to lose my peace and got spiritually thirsty. When I realised what happened with God's grace I left. But I cried for people who had followed, then the Lord spoke me about their mandate. I understood that I can only pray and let it be.

@@olivialoeto204 Yes, it’s sad because whatever false doctrine (teaching) they learned becomes hard to unlearn and a stronghold that keeps them from the truth. I grew up Catholic, but I didn’t really care about God and I wasn’t strongly rooted in Catholicism. I became an atheist because I thought that God wasn’t real and that it was dumb to believe in a god of any sort. This made it difficult for me to read the Bible or care at all about what was said in it. It impacted my perception of God and Who He was. I realized that He was real because it took me a greater evil to see a greater good. Demons are real and they play a role in how people are deceived. Praying for other people is definitely a good way to help them for sure. The Bible tells us this: “19 Brethren, if anyone among you wanders from the truth, and someone turns him back, 20 let him know that he who turns a sinner from the error of his way will save a soul from death and cover a multitude of sins.” (James 5:19-20) I try to challenge the people who have false beliefs, whether they are in a false religion or atheist, by telling them the truth in love: “24 And a servant of the Lord must not quarrel but be gentle to all, able to teach, patient, 25 in humility correcting those who are in opposition, if God perhaps will grant them repentance, so that they may know the truth, 26 and that they may come to their senses and escape the snare of the devil, having been taken captive by him to do his will.” (2 Timothy 2:24-26) “8 This is a faithful saying, and these things I want you to affirm constantly, that those who have believed in God should be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable to men. 9 But avoid foolish disputes, genealogies, contentions, and strivings about the law; for they are unprofitable and useless. 10 Reject a divisive man after the first and second admonition, 11 knowing that such a person is warped and sinning, being self-condemned.” (Titus 3:8-11) God could grant them repentance IF we are gentle with EVERYONE when correcting them. Not everyone will be saved as the gospels tells us, because it is a narrow path. However, we have to help the few who will. There are times when we are casting pearls before swine and it is important to discern when to end a conversation that is getting nowhere as Titus 3:9-11 tells us. Keep contending for the faith and loving others because you never know when you might be the person they turn to for guidance. People need God more than they realize and you can help them to understand that. God bless you!

we only receive the Spirit of YAHUAH when we are willing to stop living lawless through faith in YAHUAH. 1 john 3:24, John 14:15-16. Derek prince is a preach opposite to law obedience.

I guess it really depends on the situation. My ex was the one who forsook our bonds and offered me the divorce. I didn’t want a divorce. I am free to remarry as she is the one who left me at the altar before God. (Symbolically) It wrecked me. Two + years I travailed with suicidal depression. Until God saved me, and Jesus found me. Now I am a new man, a new creation. And I’ve asked God, if it’s his will I am remarried, that he lead me to the one meant for me.

@@BeholdIamaNewCreation I understand. My first husband left me with 3 young children and disappeared. Was unable to locate him. Nil monetary support. Then later a wonderful man came into my life helping financially and mentally. I never accepted Jesus until a year or so before we married. I've been dealing with addiction and I clearly heard the Lord say *you will only find relief at the foot of the cross*. I've been listening to Derek's series on the application of the cross to understand what that means and what to do. I'm 42 and so, so, so exhausted and feel like giving up.

Amen. Well said. No doubt one of the many causes which grieve God's Spirit, is how Christians glorify an already defeated devil. There are NT Laws, such as the amplified Royal Law, the Law of the Conscience, etc., for which Christ Jesus has made available the Graces to obey (the word "Grace" is used both singularly and pluralistic, but when used of the latter potentially conveys connotations falling short of the many acts of Grace needed: therefore "Graces" is better). As Derek pointed out from Gal. 5, it is the supernatural Fruits of the S(s)pirit allowed by us matured (at least some of which are so done instantaneously as I explain on X) whereby we obey NT Law. We are to obey the spirit of the Law by the S(s)pirit, not the spiritually dead letter of the Law by the dead/crucified flesh. And since all law requires penalties of disobedience, the adversary is allowed contining existence to administer such penalties until such a time as the New Heaven and new earth are in place with its hierarchical rule by the saints. This sermon excerpt I believe was poorly labeled. We as believers overcome the ongoing carnal nature/old man by resisting the devil, receiving repentance and forgiveness when we fail, and proactively committing to further sanctification/purification of our heart ("thoughts and intents") and renewal of mind, by more Grace. Righteousness must be maintained, though many believe to the contrary.

Yes, baptism and communion have an especially important role towards union with Christ.

You can only worship in Spirit & Truth. The words Jesus speaks are Spirit & life. Jesus is the Truth. It is not your words. It is His Word. You can only worship Him through the Word of God. Nothing you yourself make up on your own. It all comes from God. Agree with His Word & you will have fellowship with Him.

Read your bible, read the psalm allocate each day to read a chapter or read the gospel. You need to love the word of God remember The word of God is life and when you read it the word works in you and perfect that which is lacking. (Colossians 3:16, KJV) Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.

I feel the same way. I find putting on worship music, reading psalms out loud on my knees helps to get into worshiping in spirit and truth.
