I’m always amazed with these crushing videos how strong shock absorbers must be because no matter how much downward force is exerted on top of a vehicle once the force is lifted off the shocks bounces back….

That bus could of been given a new life as amotorhome or campervan it would of been refurbishable and alot cheaper to convert to a camper than buying a new or good socond hand one and probably last alot longer and still be on the road well after any of the new stuff goes to the scrapheap these old buses were built like brick dunnies

I've been involved with bus restiration since the late 90s . One thing I've learned is that most body damage can be repaired . When it comes to the chasis and engine that can be a diffrent kettle of fish .

This is being crushed for demonstration purposes . It still has it's tyres and glass for example . On most crushed vehicles the tyres would be removed for seperate recyling and the glass removed for safety.

Why would they do that? No scrap yard ever pulls tires off before crushing? Which i must say is confusing because they could be recycled.... Oh wait they are only interested in the profits of scrap metal... Not that i am an environmental tree hugger. But why not pull the glass out and the tires off and send it to be recycled instead of just being melted down with the scrap metal? I mean honestly its not that damn hard... They want to bitch about costs... Here's a solution have non violent inmates in there to do it?... Could go on and on but i will end it here...

bbcisrubbish I would say probably not. It was probably used as a camper, maybe by someone that perhaps couldn’t afford a real RV (by that, I mean a factory made camper) or perhaps they wanted to convert it themselves (to make it how they wanted it.)
