Judged and competed last season, and saw far too many podiums going to people who didn't get close to wall ball depth. Hopefully they sort out the judging consistency this coming season, uphold the rules, and make it fair.

Just tried wall balls for the first time and they are much harder than I expected, right now i'm not even sure if i'l be able to do 100!

Good timing. I did a hyrox simulation today and wall balls were gruesome to do and probably worse to look at. One question, I've seen some people squatting to a box in the race. Are you allowed to sit down on the box momentarily? Doesn't seem right if you are 🤔

Hi Brian, thanks for the support. I agree Wall Balls are killer ! but a true test at the end. I believe the box can be used but I think it is more of a 'if you need' situation due to failing to hit depth

@@JayFitPT I used it in Birmingham. Wish I hadn't as I'm really tall and had to plunge well below parallel. I was really slow anyway, by far my worst event, took 10 minutes 😒 . Sled pull was OK though 🤣
