1. Realize when you might be feeling overloaded or overwhelmed.
2. Notice how these feelings manifest in your bodily sensations motor patterns.
3. Consciously emulate smooth motor patterns by slowing your movement, speech, writing and even your breathing.

Tired and wired that was me! I bought a far infared heating pad 18x18 159$. Omg i sleep through the night and when i wake up i go back to sleep. I'm super ill with RA. Now I'm tired and tired. I wonder if it fixed my limbic system without dnrs?

Any tips specifically on retraining around driving anxiety? I had a panic attack while driving, and have made some progress, familiar with limbic system retraining, but this specific area is probably the biggest remaining challenge

Yes! We actually use this example in our brain retraining program. In short, we want to use incremental training as a form of systematic desensitization. Effectively, we describe 4 stages her 1) become fluent with the ability to self-regulate. 2) practice self-regulation in the presence of a distant exposure to the stressor. In this case e.g. simply look at a picture of the road, imagine that you are driving, your watch a YT video (while maintaining a feeling of ease in your body). 3) When you're able to do this at will for extended periods of time (work your way up), you can try sitting behind the wheel with the car still in the driveway (and practicing self-regulation e.g. we teach a specific protocol for this at www.re-origin.com/program); 4) Go for a short drive. - Basically, what we are doing here, is practicing gradual exposure in a controlled environment with the caveat that our aim is to keep the nervous system calm and body feeling at ease. By practicing this over time, your brain and body will get the new message that driving is not threatening.
