See I'm white but I have some traits of a black person. For example when my new growth of hair comes in it's shape of a cork screw and I don't have medulla which is in the hair shaft that black people don't have but whites do. Well I don't have it. I wonder if I can have my hair done that way and if it would stay?

Do not take this the wrong way however all black hair is not coily as a matter of fact can be straight and ranges, and most do have a medulla. I am a licensed stylist and I do all different types of hair, and no you do not have to be black to get your hair like this and it will last. I have white clients who get this done. Hope this helps.

Although a nice cut, I really don't like the way the hair was curled. Otherwise, you do a nice job!! I can't take anything away from your skill. I truly don't mean any disrespect!

If you live in South a Pixie hair styles may last one day.... flat Iron curls don't last...sorry🙁

Not even if you style it with a holding and anti-humidity product? Curling Wax, anti-humidy hair spray, styling spritz? I grew up in the Caribbean and women and girls would wear these all of the time. It would last a week until the curls dropped fully. When they were not going out or to work they would have it wrap up in a scarf.
