I grew up with a big family, 4 brothers, 3 sisters, uncle, mum, 2 nieces and grandma all living in the same house and my mum eventually got sick of buying products for everyone to scrape out the whole tub with one scoop she started to dilute the shampoo and conditioners with coconut milk and olive oil and I never really noticed how healthy my hair was until I moved out and started using regular strength products! What you buy from the shops in your regular town are filled with chemicals that are sometimes too strong for your hair, especially in shampoos, but also conditioners and if you leave those conditioners in your hair for too long, the things inside it that are sometimes quite bad will dry or damage your hair. Try it out! Especially in your leave ins. A bit of olive oil and coconut milk or something softening that’s not damaging to hair 😅

this is a nice tutorial, the products are cheap with above average products and perfect for any (black) male with semi good natural curls. the only problem i have at the end is that there is still a bit if white and your hair looks very wet and that could cause shrinkage

I wish i never cut my hair back in 2018. I grew it out since 2017. I'm growing my whole hair out because i wanted dreadlocks. And i'm choosing to grow just the top of my hair out again or grow it everywhere around my head

You don't need to do all this with all those products. All you need is your basic Vaseline Jell. 1) apply jell to your hair 2) use sponge on hair - I don't even use the sponge, don't even own one, I just use my hands - I'm African so I'm pretty sure I got 4c hair 3) wait a little - I usually just rock the sponge look and go about my day till I get back home, but no more than an hour should do pressing hair down with a hat or durag or bandanna or something helps shape the curls more 4) shower it out - rarely touching hair - shaking water out like he did at end. You don't need all them products and all that extra shit just stick to the basics
