Glide down as you twirl and/or move a little faster. I get lines sometimes too

My curls was doing the same exact thing but as soon as I started twisting the curling iron in the opposite direction I didn’t see anymore lines.

I have the same issue, mine is human hair but I think we're clamping on the hair too tightly. I kept doing that and gave up. I don't know how to make it loose.

It could be the quality of the hair, the temp being too high for that hair, or a product you put on the hair
