Hi me again. I have been trying to use the forever paper with your toner. I finally got it. So far solid white and solid colors work pretty good. It was very confusing but I didn't give up. I wasted a lot of transfers . But it will be worth it. Thank you. And thank you for your product.

Goodmorning. The problem is my heatpress temperature is not as hot as the display says. I had to raise my temperature settings up to 385 degrees to get an accurate required temperature to use the paper and the white toner. I'm getting a very good results now. From now on I will check the platen temperature with a hand held temperature sensor.. Thanks again.

Just sharing what I learned in chemistry to answer the question why white toner prints crack easily. I think the main reason is because toner molecules have low melting point - at 100 degrees celsius. Generally, the higher the melting point, the stronger the bonds between molecules, which means higher resistance to cracking. To illustrate, a candle with very low melting point cracks much much easily than a steel with very high melting point. Since toner printing technology only allows low temp fusing, as it is originally intendd for paper printing (which may burn at high temperature), it follows that the toner materials being used must have low melting points. So, there is no way that toner printing can be improved to avoid cracking on fabric unless the technology is modified to make use of high-melting point toners.

That is what we recommend. Depending on the design the print lasts much longer and will not come of. As with any printed garment after many washes you will maybe see cracking or a little color fade but nothing major!

Hi, thank you! The white underprint is on the whole motif not only in the places where the "gaps" are. The only thing to note is that the white underprint is 2-3mm smaller than the actual design. :)

Hi, you first print all colors with CMYK then print the white layer behind it. You have to make 2 print passes and change the toner. When you are at the 2 pass for the white layer you print in grayscale mode so that only the white toner is used. Everything must be printed mirrored. Hello Sir and thank you for taking the time for this demonstration. I go online and look for laser printers which have ghost toners available, the problem is they want to sell you a$4k or $6k laser printer. After watching your video I searched your printer and WOW! its like a tenth of the cost. I am looking for a laser printer which can do the 17" print but I don't want to spend thousands of dollars. Are you familiar with any such models? Thank YouMark

Wow thanks for the information. Every print we have to switch the white cartridge ? ( It's very lengthy process) Is there any other options? Where we do not need to switch cartridge everytime.

You can of course print batches of color and then the white all in one other batch. This makes you swap the cartridge only once per batch.

We used the paper which we also have in our Webshop here: www.ghost-white-toner.com/transfer-foils/. Most laser printers will work with that paper. We recommend using HP printers with our Ghost White and CMYK Toner for the best results!

Thank you for this video. I have the ghost white toner. My main problem for bigger graphics is when it comes to washing. I’m putting the design on a 100% cotton t shirt. After 2 to 3 washes maximum the design starts cracking. How can I solve this issue?

Hi, what could help is making interuptions in your motiv (like for example a grid/raster). Or doing a longer repress at the end can help. Sometimes it can depend on the kind of cotton. I have a swing arm hot press that is only hot on the top. Bottom plate does not heat. Will this process still work the same way?

Try to reduce it around 1.5mm also use the bottom tray of the printer. The manual feed is too inaccurate.

You can stat with the HP ones and later switch to Ghost Toners. The Ghost Toners work more consistent in Transfer Paper Peeling.

I notice in some videos when selecting the paper setting you select "Opaque Film" and others it's "Color Transparency". Is there reason why that is and also do you recommend leaving "print density" at default setting? I think I may have answered my question re: paper settings...looks like depending on which video the printer is either HP 252 or 452?

You are right! It depends on the printer model ! You can also experiment with the settings and see what works best for you!

If you are only printing a small area can you cut the a and b paper to that small size so you are not wasting the paper?

indeed this is possible, or you can also print the design on the paper multiple times in order to just do the printing process once (in case you need more "copies" of the design).

Hi. I'm using your product in my m252dw printer . The color toner with solid white back black layer works good. But white layer with solid white back ground layer is not working yet. In other words two white layers Then marry to b paper cracks. Question? Can I print solid white image on t shirts with out cracking? I have tried a lot of times.

You'll need to marry the sheets directly or shortly after printing. But then you can store sheets for quite some time.

Why not save money and just buy virgin/empty toner cartridges and refill them yourself using a fine granular mixture of polyester powder and white titanium dioxide? Find the right combo of polymer or acrylic and purchase refurbished cartridges. This price needs to come down. Need some competition.

You can also use OEM HP Toner carts. The Ghost CMYK + White Carts are optimized for Transfer appplications and give a little easier peeling process than other ones but for a start you can use those.

Refilling is not a good option. Every Cartridge contains components which need to be replaced to assure good image quality and consitenst print yield.

Ray Linares Depends in the design. If you’re design has blacks or lots of halftones a white background is mandatory for correct color.

I checked on the Exact White Toner Transfer Paper and although I have not tested it yet I'm sure from the specification that it will work seamlessly with Ghost White Toner.

Hi! Ein fertig gepresste A&B kann einige Monate gelagert werden, solange er gut von Staub, Feuchtigkeit, Hitze, Kratzern und Biegen geschützt wird. Wir empfehlen es in einer verschließbaren Box oder Tüte zu lagern.

Thank you so much for the video! I have a question: What if I just want to print basic white logos on dark garments? My white graphics never have color in them and I'm looking for the best solution to print these onto dark garments without using HTV, Plastisol transfers, etc... I am really hoping this is finally the solution!! 🙂 P.S. For printing black graphics onto white garments, I was looking into using inkjet transfer. Then I won't have to cut out the designs because the white will just show up as transparent, right?

Apprendre l'art That’s easy! Just convert the image to black and white (if not so already) then invert. Everything black on screen will be printing white.

Hello, thanks for this tutorial. I would like to know how essential ist the use of the WHITE cartridge. I read that the powder-like structure of the Ghost White Toner is what makes the image so well adhesive on fabric. So if I understand correctly - I always have to run a white print as the second layer, even if I do not have a white color in my image ? Or do the foil & b-paper work also without the ghost white toner with the USUAL laserjet toners ? Thank you.

You will need to run 2 passes when you need white and color for dark surfaces. You can use the transfer papers with normal toner as well for light surfaces!

What program do you use to print as I’m printing out of photoshop using this printer and the paper keeps getting stuck what do you suggest i do?

My print after 2min in 160'C in press, all went to paper-B from foil-A. What i did wrong? I have oryginal toners from hp 150

Hi, did you do everything exactly as in the video ? Did you use our A and B films or from another manufacturer? In general, you can use the standard HP toners, but you will get the best results if you use the Ghost toners.

@@Ghost-White-Toner yes and my print was in gayscale and 300% black, and the biggest pressure i can and all text (becouse it was only text on arial black font) went into paper. Nice shiny but not on foil, but paper:)

can you rasterize the image so it is softer feel. and can you use the black t shirt back ground as part of the black so you lay a thinner layer?

PhotoZen you can rasterize the design in any graphic software like Photoshop or Corel. There you can also take away the blacks as you describe. But the feel is very good even without this

Eric Thomas no it’s not. You can use it but it has been made for paper printing while the Ghost Toners are enhanced for better performance in Transfer applications.

Ok First of all thank you for all the answers to almost all of my questions. One more request can you guys print the image of the bear and the word Ghost . Complete with the ghost white toner backing then mail the imaged transfer to Me so I can do the last step . ( heat pressing it to my own t shirts ). Maybe two complete transfers completed .I'll heat press them to the t shirts. Is that possible? If so where can I order them and how much will that cost ? HELP! I’m having problems when printing. The mask that is printing in white IS NOT ALIGNMENT with my color design, the mask continue to print more to the right. I follow all the instructions from previous videos on how to create the mask and don’t work for me. I’m printing from photoshop and using fit to page. do I need to do a setting to the printer?to Photoshop? So at this point i don’t know what to do, I have use a few forever paper and I don’t want to continue to wasted. Any knows how to fix the problem?

Joss Grullon I’m pretty sure that the issue is because of the fit to page option in Photoshop. Best results can be achieved by printing from a PDF File. Please send an email to support@ghost-White-toner.com with pictures of your problem I will support team will take care of it.

Hi when you say no tumble dry you start losing me. I always use the dryer to dry my clothes.

All printed products (no matter the technology) should be hanged to dry. Of course you can tumble dry it but it might not last you as long as if you don't. :-)
