What customization? Wallpapers, animated wallpapers, fonts, keyboards is literally what every phone can personalize even Sony, Iphones or the cheapest Xiaomis. The only thing no one can beat samsung is at making disposable batteries.

I have a video for my lockscreen. Ive always used videos for mines. Makes it even more unique. I have the Street Fighter character Akuma,with his back facing the screen...while flames 🔥 are coming off his back. Its pretty cool. And nope,battery doesn't drain faster either.
