Excellent informational! As an experienced mobile engineer but complete bumbling newbie to Web design, I found this very useful. I didn't know for example the existence of layout builder plugins (makes us backend guys a bit more comfortable), also glad to hear about staging environment. Doing a site for a local business and friend and considering building it locally and migrating it to the server when it is done vs editing live. Is is hard to push from local?

Where is the theme editor now? I think it got moved in the updated version of Wordpress so it is no longer in appearance
