Thanks for this! I actually went to your blog post and checked the detailed photos. It's very helpful as I am contemplating to cut a wig too and make it into a topper instead. My problem was that the wig cap was too tight on my head. It can cause headaches when worn for a few hours and so I thought making it into a topper would be better. Thanks so much! =)

Before you get all uptight and want to comment below about not seeing where I cut the wefts on the wig. Please see my blog post for up-close pictures. I did not feel comfortable cutting my $400 wig on video and messing it up. But I clearly tell you where and how to cut it. It is a simple cut just do not cut through the hair on the other side. Telling everyone how you think I should be doing it is rude and not helpful. All of the other videos on this subject do not show the actual cuts either or if they do it's blurry, but at least mine does show clear up close pics. It's a shame you stopped making videos, as i found this really helpful and thought your video was great! You obviously have skills to share and an interesting delivery. Don't let know it alls who never do anything themselves but criticise others discourage you from what you want to share!

Yes you can as long as it has wefts. Just cut them down like I did this one.

You can do this on a full lace. You just have be more careful when you cut the cap.

The wig at the end was not the same as the one from the beginning 🤔 the size of the lace in the one she started with was like an inch and a half, and at the end the lace was more like 4 inches wide…wth lol 😆

I say it is not the same wig in my blog post. I had already cut down the Angelina before the video. I used another wig to show you how to do it. I wasn't going to ruin a $400 for a video. Read my first comment below.

Hi Kelly, Yes you use the original front hairline. I did not cut it. I just rounded the corner on the sides

Do you know of a glue for ppl who have no hair at all on entire head, that will hold down a basic cap?

I hope that you see this - I have some hair but use "Got 2B Glued." I think I could walk thru a hurricane and still have my wig on. You need to use a mix of shampoo and water to remove the glue, but I love it!

What happened to the side part? How did it become a full mono top? Not the same cap🤔

I say it is not the same wig in my blog post. I had already cut down the Angelina before the video. I used another wig to show you how to do it. I wasn't going to ruin a $400 for a video. See my first comment below.
