Thank you for watching my videos. 25.5inches is the measurement from the pointed end of the fabric to your waist line measurement.

Thank you for watching my videos. You can add 2inches to your waistline measurements then cut out side seams so that you can add side pockets

I'm making this skirt out of denim, I'm in process of cutting out, but I have question, do you think that I could just put in a elastic as waitband , have you tried this

I suggest you give it a try but you might need to add a few inches to the waist measurement. I have not tried it.
