It’s obvious you’re a hairstylist, and it’s wonderful that you give us tips on styling and reshaping, in some cases, our wigs to personalize them. Most stylists would stress to not try this at home. Thanks so much!

Oh my goodness! If you aren't the sweetest cutest woman EVER! I've learned so much from you and I haven't even watched that many of your videos yet! I'm subbing, liking and thanking you for taking the time to make these tutorials! If I look half as hot as you do after fixin my hair, there may be hope for me yet! Losing my hair was the hardest thing for me to ever have gone thru...I was really feeling like it would have just been so much easier to have lost my life! My hair was my thing! Now a days, I'm so disappointed I didn't discover wigs sooner! Do you know how many times I just didn't feel like getting up an hour earlier to do my hair? All that time wasted where I could've had a cute unit tucked away to throw on n go! What was I thinking? Thanks again!

Girl, while losing hair does bust down self-esteem, u kind of get to a wonderful, "lets focus on other things" way and it SO AWESOME THANKS to not have maintenance... The hairs all over everything.. shedding in everything and everywhere. I started to work on my personality more. I started dating my husband at the time who hated short hair but now he doesn't want me having long hair. He didn't date me but knew me and i was a vein party girl. Im calmer and more grounded... Free. He said pixie hair me is who he married. I want a wig for fancy events but he sobbed loudly "NOOOOOO! UR PERFECT JUST LIKE THIS... DONT DO IT", its fun in bed, was my argument... he didn't like that either. Lol. He. Said he felt like cheating.. but its still me.. that's the fun...IM GETTING A FREAKING WIG! LOL. He went from pulling my hair and saying " please grow" to 7 years and a kid later to not wanting even a wig... Said i dont wear them. I forgot how hot and shedding hair can be. So ill remember why im forever a short hair girl. As a kid,. My mom wouldn't let me cut it .hair was my thing till 33.. now im 40 and glamorous pixied out

I echo everyone's comments here. Thank you Patti, for this bang cutting lesson. I've had bangs most of my life, but I'm being brave now, and just ordered January Petite. Now thinking seriously of getting Alia too. If i just can't stand the way i look without bangs I'll be brave again and cut some into Alia. You are a gem 💎.

I love your videos as, so far, your the only one that styles the wig exactly the way I would like it. Other videos also give good reviews but the way they play with them is always too flat or too fluffed up for me. Yours are just right because I can see that it is possible to get them to look the way I would want them to look. I just ordered my first two wigs and the first thing I'll do is watch your reviews on them again and let you baby step through the styling process. I am no stylist, but you make it look so easy. Thanks Patti!!!!

Yes, you can use a steamer to change the hair pattern on a synthetic wig
@davidandcris17 жыл бұрын
Patti I don't understand how you can comb through that hair so easily. I have 4 Renau pieces and I can barely pull the Renau comb through...forget trying a finer tooth comb like the one you used. Anyway, I think Alia with bangs is my dream wig! You did a great job demonstrating and you look adorable in it.
@Emotionallygay897 жыл бұрын
honestly its cause no matter what synthetic hair sucks i only get human hair anymore its a bit more work but trust me way more worth it and plus shes using a fresh wig from her stock there always shiny and nice when you first get them so thats why she gets through it so easily
@davidandcris17 жыл бұрын
Oh I don't know about that. I love my synthetic pieces. Its just impossible to comb them...even brand new I couldn't get a comb through.
@Emotionallygay897 жыл бұрын
it better to use a wig brush
@Emotionallygay897 жыл бұрын
start from bottom to top as to not rip hair out
@Wigsbypattispearls7 жыл бұрын
Hi Cristina- It's best to spray them with the HD smooth detangler then use the Wide Tooth Comb and start from the underside at the back. Comb from the ends to the nape. Then you can flip it over and comb from the ends to the top. This detangles the wig. Once you do this you should be able to run a comb through it......unless it's a synthetic wig that you've had for a while and then they do tend to tangle easily.

Hi Renee, It depends on how thick you want them. The thicker you want them the further you need to go back.

Patti, have you ever tried using pinking shears to cut bangs? Thank you for your thoughts.
@Wigsbypattispearls2 жыл бұрын
Hi Jan! We do not advise using pinking shears to cut the hair. Those are really for the lace only. Pinking shears cut in a zig-zag pattern and will create a funky crimped pattern on the hair. Use normal cutting shears for bangs always 😊
@JanCummings2 жыл бұрын
@@Wigsbypattispearls I find I’m not very coordinated to use your right angle/left angle cuts to create a jagged edge for the bangs that’s why I wondered if pinking shears might be easier to use to create a similar effect. Thanks for letting me know. I will continue to try the twist a cut method. Thank you for your helpful tips!

I had trouble with the chipping--I've never cut hair.
@Wigsbypattispearls3 жыл бұрын
Hi Julie! Cutting hair can definitely take some time to get used to when it's not something that you typically do. It's very important to use really sharp cutting shears. If they are dull, you won't get an even cut and it can damage some of the hair fibers. You also want to be specific in that you are using "cutting shears" and not regular scissors which alot of people attempt. I would suggest saving some of your older hair pieces so that when you are finished with them, you can use them to practice on and then once you feel comfortable you can start trying it on your new pieces. Thank you so much for watching our videos. We truly appreciate it. Best Wishes!!!

I can't get the bangs on the left side of my Alia wig to lay flat. I don't own a steamer. Tried wetting, combing and the warmth of my palm. To no avail. Can you suggest the way to remedy this Patty. Thanks in advance
@Wigsbypattispearls2 жыл бұрын
Hi Cornelia! The best way to get a permanent fix for this is to purchase a steamer and steam them to lay flat. Steam reshapes synthetic fibers and since your bangs are acting a little difficult, steam may be the only way to fix them once and for all. As an alternative option, you can try using a synthetic-safe hairspray on the bangs and then pin them in the direction you want them to lay. Steaming will be your best bet😊

What wig and what colour do you suggest, and how can I buy it from you. Also, I had enough of human hair and like to choose a synthetic wig, which is cheaper. I am living only on pension money, which is a lot less than American pension money. I know it because my older sister lives on pension.
