Esta bien ,esto resulta y es excelente, un brasileño, lo demostró, dos detalles.....no es necesario tantas vueltas de alambre..suficiente con dos y tienen que estar bien apretado...y lo más importante es el agua...TIENE QUE ESTAR FRIA..CON HIELO...INSISTO, el alambre bien apretado y luego de calentar, sumerge en agua FRIA ..tiene que ser rápido...este ejemplo esta bien realizado y efectivo..tengo una maquina y perdí plata ..esto es sumamente económico, fácil y efectivo..desde chile los saludos 🤗

Tip: add boiling water inside the bottle when you are heating the cable. Also, do it indoors, outdoor may be windy which will waste your wax ;(

See that candle it is melting so u can also burn it when the candle is burning continuously so u have to need 1 candle

Those little candles burn for about 10-15 minutes I'd say. He just burned it as long as it lasted.

Freezing water is best. Lots of ice in a bucket with water. If you can score the glass, with a glass cutter. That will help immensely. I like the idea of using metal in the area that you wish for the glass to break. I believe if you use this method along with the scoring. You will get a better result. As opposed to not using the metal wire when you apply heat to the bottle and then plunge into freezing water.

There's a great video out on YT about exactly that. That technique actually looks a little more reliable. You just need like 5-10 USD of supplies from the hardware store. A cheap handheld glass cutter and sandpaper. And hot and cold water.

A lot of effort to cut one bottle, l have 100’s of bottles to prep. I’ll look for an easier solution

Look for other videos that show the string method and there are also forms you can buy on Amazon eBay etc to place a bottle in and then just turn it around on the glass cutter to get a straight cut those can run I'll say 20 bucks give or take

Eh, that's kind of a crappy result. Better to score the glass properly and then use the heat source to continue the crack propagation cleanly.

Very poor show.The fellow could not hold the candle flame properly and towards the end the view was some what what blocked for some time due to shoddy focusing.The cut was irregular and not smooth.There are other videos which show the same process with more precision.Rating 0.1 out of 10.
