FADE CREAM: I use a 3% hydroquinone: amzn.to/2sEiTvs or a 2% hydroquinone: amzn.to/2sUiiKc for 4 months then I switch to a non-hydroquinone fade cream amzn.to/2sDRSrZ for 1 month and then back on my hydroquinone product.
DERMAROLLER: 0.25 mm roller (can be used nightly): amzn.to/2sDAiEB

Sometimes I'm just so amazed at how some women who look so put together like they just walked out of a salon, really do it themselves!! Incredible- You are so pretty and have different videos then everyone else. Thanks for being creative and sharing. Bangs are one thing, I'm going over to the other video to see if you layer your whole head! LOL

Thank you so much for this much-needed tip and demo! I'm 42 and have worn bangs my entire life but they have always given me such grief. I look forward to doing this.

I prefer the older video of your original bang cut because my hair is very thin & fine. I tried cutting into it afterwards but they were too flyaway. I need some weight on them. So then I ended up a week or so later cutting a little bit more off to make them blunt again. But thanks for your videos. Very helpful. I have tried cutting my bangs in all different ways over the years and this is the best for me. I even gave up bangs at one point for several years because I got tired of always having to cut them. Now this is easy to do!

Hi, Anne! I am usually totally against leaving comments on KZfaq videos but with your video I was able to cut my bangs exactly how I wanted them! Something years of going to fancy hair salons couldn't accomplish. I did this technique on my grown out blunt bangs and now they beautifully fall from side to side! So simple and effective! thank you very much!

Hey, Anne-Marie. Thought I would let you know I follows your method to cut me a new set of bangs. Thank you so much for sharing this. The demo helped a lot and the bangs turned out so much better than I thought they would. I used to have bangs most of my life, but the past four years I have let them grow out. Now I no longer have that bright forehead beaming at everyone! Hope you are enjoying your Sunday. Lorna

I've trimmed my own bangs before using this technique, but never did I know part 2! Which is to twist them in the opposite direction for a 2nd trim. Thanks for sharing this. I'm going to trim mine tonight. You look much prettier than Bridget Bardot. Love love the ways your hair always looks. Thanks for this!

Sherbe Lee Thank you! You are too sweet! Let me know if the twist one way then twist the other way works well for you...I hope so! I've used this technique for many years and it's a fairly easy way to cut them. Hope you are having a great weekend! xo Anne

My hairdresser showed my how to cut my bangs when I was going to be gone for three months (mistake on her part, I think lol). She had me twist twice and then do the cutting with the scissors the long way (how you do it on your added step). It takes a little longer that way, but it works out really, really well. I hope I explained this clearly. Do NOT cut straight across with your scissors on either of the first two steps. This way, you will eliminate your last step.

Thanks, Anne - you are a doll! I am thinking of going upstairs now and cutting some bangs. Since I do not currently have any, I need to start from scratch. Any tips on how to section the hair that is cut? I am thinking, maybe from eyebrow peak to eyebrow peak as far as width goes and then maybe about an inch back at front? Any tips would be much appreciated, glad to have discovered you.
@BeautyByAnneMarie
@BeautyByAnneMarie 7 жыл бұрын
Yes, that sounds right! Kind of in a V shape (nothing drastic). It's always better to do less and have to add some and do it again than to cut too much the first time. I'd also add to cut them a little longer (maybe about where glasses would hit on your nose)...I've cut mine too short before and had to wait a few weeks for them to grow out ;)) I'd love to hear how it goes and what you think! Good luck, you'll do great! xoxo

Thank you for this tip. Do you trim the back of your hair too? How do you do that if you do? I am really interested. I want to do my own. I seem to go to the salon and evertime I have the lady trim it she cuts off two inches. :( Thank you for this tip. She charges me $30 to do my bangs. I think that is criminal. Or I need to find someone else. Thank you :) I just subbed love your channel! xo Becki
@BeautyByAnneMarie
@BeautyByAnneMarie 8 жыл бұрын
+VictoriasRoses Hi Becki! Thank you so much for subbing and welcome! I hope you enjoy my other videos as well. Yes, I stopped going to a salon about 10 years ago. I cut the sides and bangs and then have either my mom or daughter (she's early 20's) cut the back just straight across. When my hair gets a little longer than it is now I should be able to do the back myself by bringing it forward. The salons always did that same thing to me too...cut way too much off then I had to grow it back. Plus it was so expensive and when I had them color my hair it was really expensive (and they messed the color up too often...I've had orange, pink and grey several times). I'm MUCH happier doing my own (and so much cheaper)! If you have someone you trust to take just the bare ends off the back, then the sides and front are pretty easy to do by yourself. Or if your hair in back is long enough to put it in front of your shoulder I have seen girls cut their own this way. Hope this helps some. xo Anne
