You have such a beautiful, warm personality and are such a joy to watch. You remind me so much of Katie from Royalty Soaps. Wishing you great success with your channel, and thank you for sharing your knowledge with us. By the way, after posting my comment, I started watching your "What Every Soapmaker Should Ask Themselves" video now, and I came back to add to my comment to say that I also found you because of Katie's recommendation. :o)

This is awesome. Thank you so much for sharing your mold source. You saved me $60 a mold plus I can produce my wholesale line much faster. I just got my sliding slab cutter special ordered today and I'm feeling confident. With my multi bar cutter Maximilian I'm set to grow! Thanks for the bakers rack recommendation. Right now I'm at the Free99 cucumber stacking boxes from Costco but I'm sure I'll need to grow there soon.

I wouldn't mind seeing a video on how you grew like that. Thats awesome! I'd like to do that too but I don't know how so I just sell small time. Your insight would be greatly appreciated. However, I did hear what you use to calculate your large sizes. If anyone is interested I made a spreadsheet that could calculate everything in a couple of seconds. Its the only actual lye calculator on Etsy and it includes most everything a soaper needs (Cause I make soap too). Again, hearing your story would be very interesting and would make a great video.

So sorry for my delayed response! Working on getting caught up on old comments that I missed while I was not on KZfaq. I grew by going to trade shows and talking to companies, finding out their needs, and then offering the service. My first foot in the door was a buyer for Whole Foods who found my soap at the farmers market. Amazing that you've out this spreadsheet together! If you're interested, please send it to hello@thesoapgal.com and I can do a shout out for you or link it as a material on my Facebook.

do you think the webstaurant 24" x 1000' kraft freezer paper roll would work in lining the dough pan. i was thinking then i would only have to cut the length and square fold both ends.

Thank you for the video! Help me Soap Gal! I make a salt soap that is 50% salt for the oils and right now I create them in an acrylic slab mold. I love the big pan you used in this. How do you recommend scaling up for a 50% salt soap? Do the wire cutters work for a salt soap? I've been asking and it seems to be a hard question to answer! I make 16 at a time right now and really need to make it more efficient.

Athena Garnett no, it has been a process. As we have got the accounts we have invested back into the business. I also have be blessed with investors that believe in want I’m doing. That is my most important bill. You can do so much with go reliable tools. Time is our most expensive part of want we do so you have to be efficient. That is why I am showing the dough pan AKA soap mold and creating a lifetime cutter!

Great video Soap Gal! Thanks for sharing your know-how and processes. I am currently taking a look at Rita and Maria's site, thanks to you. :) Hopefully they will be a guide to my wholesale growth. Just wondering - why cut the slab in half? I'm terrible at cutting straight and want to stay way far away from anything that requires a manual cut. Wouldn't it make more sense to have a cutter that fits your mold size? Or a mold size that fits your cutter?
