@@afnanbogey The inefficiency with which many do it inflicts so much unnecessary suffering. The ppl who died from creatine at the NCAAs. They were drinking it after weighing in. What wasn’t said was there was 2 or 3 weigh ins. So when the creatine absorbed all the water in the muscles. @@paulkemp6314 this is what I’m planning to do from now on. Two weeks ago, I took a fight on 2 days notice as a replacement for an injured fighter. I was 24 lbs underweight, but no one else will fight the guy and I don’t care much about my amateur record, so I went for it. I felt really good, no weight cutting. I submitted the guy in the first round after some heavy exchanges. Yes, his strikes hurt like baseball bats. But it was amazing how much damage I could tolerate before I could implement my game plan.

Great video. I enjoy watching. I like that Chael says what everyone else is thinking but is afraid to say. Not sure if you will read this but Chael, I coached in Roseburg Oregon for 25 years. Fought West Linn a million times. Remember you in high school. I guess I should have gone public with all the weight making strategies we serious cutters have developed over the years. However, the NFHSCA and the NCAA has made making weight such a taboo that we never talk about it. I've coached for 35 years at the high school level and wrestled for over 50 years. I was calculating the other day that I may have participated in or attended around 1000 weigh-ins. What I have been telling my guys forever is this: 1. Shrink your body. This is long term fitness. Eat right, excercise, etc., 2. 5% body fat - 5% water weight. Those are the limits. And that is if you are in world class shape. 3. Water weight no more than 36 hours before the weigh in. Preferably 24. 4. That last 24 hours = least amount of energy spent for max sweat. In college we had a 5 hour weigh in for dual meets. I could be 6-8 pounds over sitting in class at noon. Loose 6 pounds in 40 minutes. Shower, relax in the sauna to burn the last pound or so. Weigh-in at 2pm. Wrestle at 7pm. 5. Gotta do a test run before competition and figure out how much water you can loose in a set.My guys now will get hot then watch fishing videos while cruising on the stationary bike. 6. Dress: tights. longsleave performance t, plastics (exercise/sauna suit) sweat pants, hooded sweatshirt, wind breaker, stocking cap. Once hot ad the parka. 7. 15 minutes stiff pace - get hot. 15 minutes circuit Jog, bike, rope. 15 minutes circuit bike, rock on a chair or bench, rub down. 15 minutes rub down, rest, peal slowly. 1hr set = 6+. Often times we do this the night before weigh in because in high school we have to travel early. We will leave the building that night on weight. Pick up a footlong sub and a 20oz gatorade. Each 6" and drink the gatorade, keep the other 6 for after weight in. Be 1.5 over, float the 1.5 and make weight in the morning. Never really miss a meal. For example a 140 pounder can manage 5% of his body weight comfortably and be a 132 pounder and never miss a meal. A bigger guy can loose more. 220 = 11 or 12 pounds. I know that the critics will say that draining that much water is sooooo unhealthy, it is soooooo dangerous, it is soooooooo NO IT IS NOT. I have 50 years of action research that says its OK. I've personally done it a 100 times. Great information that validates what we already knew to be true.

His cookbook is for the rich and wasteful. If you follow his cookbook you will garaunteed waste tons of money. You buy the minimum amount available of a particular ingredient, use only a small portion of it, and it goes bad before using it again in the cook book.

@@nevertakeadayoff obviously taking some tips, tricks, meal ideas here and there won't hurt. If you actually follow it though, what I said will happen. Read the actual reviews of people who actually tried to follow it they will all tell you that's its biggest flaw.
