I just did this and it looks so good, i would just recommend snipping small bits of at a time so you dont chop too much off

fully just went ham on my hair UPDATE: it turned out great actually. i would watch a twist technique vid before doing this as well and i cut it shorter than this video as well HEHEHEHHEHE hyped

This looks really disconnected to me. Maybe if you cut more layers along the face it would look better

Marleen Haar what if you don't want to cut any of your long hair? I'm having this problem with disconnection though so I understand your point. My bangs are actually growing out right now. At end of nose length. Would cutting long hair into shoulder length hair make growing out bangs blend easier? I just hate face framing layers that's all. xx

How do you blend them into the rest of your hair though? I have long hair too and tried this and I love it but it looks disconnected.

I think that’s why they cut it in a slanted way if you feel like it’s disconnected then you probably cut it straight somewhere
