SOME say it COULD be from Городское Общежитие Пролетариата (Gorodskoye Obshezhitie Proletariata), which roughly translated means "City Hostel of the Proletariat" or "City Dormitory of the Proletariat", and which is abbreviated GOP. Those buildings were from Soviet times, from shortly after the October 1917 revolution, and essentially almhouses/dorms for the homeless/poor to sleep in. "to sleep rough"/"sleep on the streets" used to be called Gopat, literally "to gop"... Anyway, Gopniks aren't quite like Chavs. They're worse, imo. From the 1960's through the 1970’s only 12% of Americans were obese, the same 32% were fat. The low fat craze is what made USians fat. Got to get those "healthy" carbs in. 😂😂☺️☺️

The american diet was destroyed by the unscientific low fat craze that was pushed by the government since sometime in the 1970’s. Americans are obese because they were convinced by government propaganda to abandon eating animal fats and instead to eat carbohydrates. Government subsidies make corporations like Monsanto rich while making carbs extremely cheap.
