Wow! 'Haven't seen or heard Dr. Laura, since they canceled her so many years ago! I was a big fan and loved her homespun wisdom and honesty, and always wondered what happened to her.

@@drlaura I remember how sad I was when Dr L. made the switch to sirius , as we couldn’t afford it😭 But, come on, I’d read at least two of her books by then + had gleaned TONS of wisdom from her, my surrogate mother/ older sister❤️. She meant so much to me as I came from ongoing childhood trauma and was anxious about raising my ten children ( really😜). I must’ve read dozens of books on raising godly children, but hearing Dr. Laura just struck me as such TRUTH! I remember she told a caller once, “Now is your chance to make a happy family.” Oh, Dr. Laura, thank you so much, thank you. xxoo

Adult kid with 3 kids shacking, asking parent to co sign for home purchase. The father is of all the three kids. Their reasoning is that a commitment does not require acknowledgement by a gov agency. They seem to be afraid it would be the cause of problems in the relationship

How do you deal with it? You let them live together first to make sure they're compatible 24/7 And not treat marriage like it's a casual thing...
