One of the reason is that messaging is not natural, you don't get to see their expressions and talk them normally. In texts you can never know what their emotion was behind the words. Hence next time when you wanna talk to someone try doing it in person rather than over a messaging app. :)

I am 33 and half years old, I have already went through such feelings that I need someone in my life, my relationships failed miserably. So I came to conclusion, being alone is best thing. I did cut off fake friends on big scale in last 3 years, I do just my stuffs on weekends as well. I feel so normal being alone, didn't date or tried to date anyone in last three years, practicing abstinence. Life me genuine chise chahiye, nai to nai chahiye, single rehne me bhi apne alag fayede hain.

I am also a girl of same age and completely agree with you....👍👍👍👍 You know what girls feel much more lonelier than boys because for girls all their friends get married we lose touch with our friends... Even initiation doesn't work because our married friends become so busy with their babies and post pregnancy complications that they don't even have time to text or call... After a certain age we can't make male friends because they too have spouses who won't accept hanging out with us..... So life becomes very lonely....on that in late twenties and early thirties society chase single girls asking why aren't you married?? So girls become more reclusive.... Reality is very different....

Anti social , introversion, and social anxiety ,all three are exclusive. Most of the times, people interchange these words. I am an introvert and a proud one! Social anxiety is- you want friends but lack skills Introversion is- you choose not to have a social life and are happy with the choice. Also, introverts can be great conversationalists

@@sg_1541 true. People are being shamed these days for being an introvert. And being forced to make friends and have a social life. I have about 3 close friends, and I am satisfied in life. I don't feel the need to talk to people and attend gatherings. I prefer having deep meaningful conversations with a few people rather than all the noise in a crowd. Also I am happy in my own space, with my books, writing, work, exercise, and taking care of animals. ( Another stereotype that introverts hate people and that is why they are closer to animals which is bull). Introverts usually connect with nature and animals at a different level. Introversion can actually be a great quality. Great ideas are born out of introverts. History has been a witness to this fact. Introspection, self reflection and deep thinking about the various aspects of life are somehow of my favourite routines. It just feels natural and organic. The problem starts when people have social anxiety or want to have a social life but cannot do so because of low self esteem or low confidence. That is a different issue altogether which needs to be addressed. But introverts should not be stereotyped anymore. And should not be forced to change their way of life just for the sake of so called society.

I love reading books. 📚 I feel that in this way I can educate myself more and thus it will help me grow. Reading books isn't something which some people like as as per them it's boring..... Again I have accepted myself the way I am. Maybe that's the reason why I have no friends...

Idk how lockdown changed me. I was an extrovert,willing to go out and have lots of fun only.. interactive with everyone Now ,it's a month l didn't get out of the house.. I mean not depressed or tensed,but like l really don't want to interact with neighbours, friends,not wanted to be noticed or known etc...😅

Socializing is important, but what is more important is: do you like these people? Are they your friends? Can you count on them? Do they sit with you patiently when you have things to share? Do you know your secrets are safe with them and theirs with you? Or are they simply faces you know the names of but don't have any connection or liking toward them? Are you humans who pass time together because you are afraid of being alone with yourself? Do you even know them enough to rely on them for anything important or urgent? Friendship is a good 30-40% life's battle won. A major source of positive physical and mental health. I would say, use socializing to look for friends you can keep, not faces to fill the space around you.

Had my birthday, used to have 14-15 friends when I was in school. Now in college only one friend wished me for my birthday,rest whom I used to enjoy with don't give a damn. This is the harsh truth we all gotta accept. And this is what gonna happen in future. At the end we're born alone and are gonna die alone,so don't fret on being alone since it's better to be alone than having a bad company and Better to have one friend out of hundreds of friends who abandon you during bad times. I had a friend who was in trauma just because of a fuckin breakup. And was depressed just bcs of cutting himself to others ...shwetabh here has pointed out such a picular thing "to start a convo" lack on initiation...that's very true and applicable for most of people. In friends quality is important not quantity yesterday 22nd September was my birthday and only 3 friends called and wished me and I am happy with only 3 good friends, last year I had 15 to 20 friends but they all were toxic and used to talk with me only when they need help like borrowing money,etc.

College 2nd yearite here. Listen don't do mistakes i did. Approach every girl with confidence. Chances are most will reject, but still some will become friends. Girls becoming friends relaxes your anxiety and it's fun too. Aur ladko ka kya, 1 ghanta bakchodi krlena sab dost ban jayenge. Never feel inferior man. I initiated convos on my own, trust me it works

Being an introvert I love spending time alone and could spend days without interacting with anyone. I have few good friends with whome I could spend some time outside. Problem is,I'm very reserved and rarely initiate I haven't made any new friend in years and do feel need to expand my social circle.

Very well said. But, in the matter of love relationship, these things should be little different, I guess. Yeah it's very good to take initiative to make a bond last till death, it's very good to try keeping something alive, but the contribution should be from both of the sides. You take initiative to keep your relationship alive, it is very suit, but I don't think that the initiatives should be taken by you always, you must wait for your partner's interest, relationships should not be based on one side, at least to protect your self respect, you should not go begging to keep it alive always, if your partner doesn't try even for once.
