Nothing like shooting both arms off a hulk, crippling it's leg and watch it limp towards you, completely void of purpose in life.

We're Helldivers, not War criminals... Yet there is no Geneva Convention about Automatons...

Do not be fooled by the humanoid appearance of the automaton. They are heartless, soulless machines, like a dishwasher or toaster. Even when fully armed (and legged) and working to kill you, the machine has no purpose because it does not live.

Thank you for this, I've been getting frustrated trying to kill hulks and it doesn't help that I'm honestly not the best at shooter games. I'm gonna try running stun grenades and going for the eye with quasar, or hitting a leg to at least slow them down and make it easier to finish them off. To be honest, I generally struggle with the different armored automatons, oddly enough the tanks don't scare me as much because they are so much less mobile. But devastators are easy enough to kill with 2 headshots from the diligence (easily my favorite primary against bots but I'm about to unlock the scorcher and try it out). And striders I can either just hit with a quasar from distance or flank. My struggle right now is between the variety of armored enemies the bots have. Really looking forward to unlocking the scorcher to make several of them easier and then having this knowledge to make the hulks not so damn threatening. Tanks are easy enough with a combo of stratagems and quasar hits. Currently, I'm not comfortable beyond difficulty 6 on bots, with 5 being my sweet spot unless the team has literally no coordination.

Good luck with your endeavor ! The learning curve within the game is quite hard, especially because of the great number of different enemies it shove at you some time. I'm sure you will get better at it the more you face them ! If you need, there is a tutorial on my channel about Bot Fabricators, and what destroy them. May it help you handle Diff 6+ easier. Yea, but why hit the 2 legs if you can shoot the body twice getting a chance to hit the head

The main reason is shooting both legs will also destroy it instantly, and if you hit 1 it's incredibly slow Still not always the best idea to shoot the leg instead of the eye, but it's an alternative that's helpful if you need to make distance, or even if you're not the best shot

Ha, I should've specified that. • Anti-Tanks are weapons with high piercing and High-Explosive damages. It means the EAT-17, Recoilless Rifle, the Spear and the Quasar Cannon. The Spear is a Lock-on weapon so it's his own way to proceed. • Anti-Armor are weapon that Pierce at least Medium armor type 2 (Medium armor + id you prefer). It include the AMR, AutoCannon, Heavy Machine Gun, Railgun, Laser Cannon and Arc Thrower.
