I have Son with his very overpowered finesse shot playstyle+ . If you defend the area and not the man that’s a gift giving me space to take a shot that has a very high percentage of scoring.

Thanks man, i've always believed that there's no "correct" way of playing for everyone. Saying "do this" and "don't do this" wont resonate with everyone seeing as every has their style. I feel giving open ideas that allow you to adapt it to your own gameplay is how you get someone to improve in way that fits them.

I am able to keep the defensive structure well. 90% of goals I concede are because of dribblers dancing in the box and ultimately getting a chance to score from a close range. R1+dribble is too OP because good players receive a massive speed boost when dribbling and find space against stationary defenders. The problem is that my second defender does not even try to close the gap between him and the defender I control. I am not sure if there is any good way to defend against dribble spam.

I just lost 6 games in a row, all of em with 5 goals conceded, i've tried many different tactics and formations and i even got all 10 (without the GK) players at the back and still jack shit. My ai is dumb as shit and i cant do a damned thing while the opponent does samba in the box as u said, heck even outside of it, they finnese from 40 yards out... My advice is delete the game and FUCK EA!! fucking fuck em...

I am not that good in the game, but after understanding football tactics and listening to your tips I can genuinely have fun and win. I hope these tips will help me secure my goal as I have a problem with keeping a clean sheet. 1 question, you mentioned second man press is better than panic player switch. In which situations it's the best to use individual second man press (single R1/RB press) and when double marking (double R1/RB press)?

Double man marking is best when defending cutbacks. Indiviual 2nd man press is best when you want to press a short distance, when the ball is passed you stop and press with another one player.

amazing videos. well done. i am watching these videos mainly to compete against my biggest rival. my cousin. this mans comment and his team choices are similar to my cousin as well. i didnt know the buttons and differences of r1 and rb presses and his comment nailed it. on another note, why are we struggling to cut passing lanes off? passes literally go through my defenders legs when i am following your methods or not in anticipation of the pass and receiver.@@bigfads8530

It’s similar to the skiller once mate, most R1 dribblers want you to overcommit, let them run into you. I’ll see if i can’t make something short on cutbacks and r1 though.

I play the 3-5-2, and i like it for the patterns it offers offensively. It allows me to play the way i want without much trouble. Defensively it’s abit suspect, especially to counters, but it’s worth the trade-off for me.

good video. Ive been good at defending for many years and usually around 16 wins in champs last fif. problem this year is lots of people just hold R1 and run through the defense or they just R2 down the line and do cutbacks. both of those are just pure aids and filled with so much rng bounces

hey bro, loved your video on attacking, i was wondering if you had formations/tactics you recommend for your learning your style?? i play with forward runs and i dont seem to have players showing to the ball and creating passing options as much as you do in your clips

Yeah, forward runs make your team run in behind instead of showing themselves. I use slow-build up and possesion no matter formation. Allows me to make manual runs myself.

@@evelynwbf I'll be making a guide on this aswell, but how often do look to break lines? Focus on one thing in your attack (ex starting attacks by passing to the ST and then laying it back to someone) that you're trying to do, and ignore the result when it working on it. Makes it easier to make that intent become instinct. Then you move/add another.

I apply these but I just struggle with pace down the line and pass back to RB/LB, CDM, CDM, ST goal…even if I switch early to attempt to cut off the lane n second man press, trying to stop this for 90mins is a nightmare

All fine knowing the tactics of how to defend but please someone make a tutorial of the mechanics of defending. Every time I have a chance to make a tackle or interception my players are on ice skates. Kryptonite in this game.

I concede so many goals when they dribble on the edge of my box. I'm trying to match their movements and even resort to spamming circle to try and do a stand tackle but a lot of the time they just stand there. It's so frustrating. I know this video is more about preventing from happening in thr first place but I'm not perfect and I don't know what to do when they get that close to my goal. I feel helpless

Don't match their movements, just stand and wait for them to come into you. Dribblers want you to move out of the space, standing in it waiting for them to come into you instead.

What can we do to players who do 100 skill moves at the same time, dribblers is way faster then defense movement .. u face the dribblers he goes left and right and the defense is so slow to catch up ,, or if u contain him .. 5 players makes run behind u … Fifa want u to contain and cut the ball and close the passing line and read ur opponent mind all in same time Ea shoudl make two kind of model of playing Casual and pro Take us away from playing against bro It’s ok way pooring the we get conceded 5 goals in one half

AI is easier, they have a set pattern so it doesn’t translate well. Learning how to do it 1v1 is better

People keep in mind, no matter what formation or defending type you use, unless you have a good connection without delay like those Top 1% players you WILL NOT see this animations in your squad. Your players will be in wrong possitions because the gameplay is sluggish. Also player switching will not work properly. Take this kind of videos like a grain of salt.
