How To Degas and Install NitroAir Nitrogen Cartridge in Umarex Komplete Airgun

An airgun review video showing how to degas the Umarex Komplete Air Rifle and install a new NitroAir pre-filled nitrogen airgun cartridge. The Komplete NCR is a PCP rifle that does not require the use of an expense air compressor, airgun hand pump, or external carbon fiber or SCBA tank. And unlike a break barrel you don't have to pull the barrel down. The Komplete just use NitroAir to power the rifle.
ALWAYS READ YOUR OWNER's OPERATION MANUAL and follow all Warnings, Cautions, Notices, and Safety Rules.
ALWAYS make sure the degas screw is tight before installing a new cartridge.
ALWAYS degas the rifle to allow any left over air to escape before attempting to unscrew it from the rifle.
When Installing PUT A DROP OF SILICONE OIL on the tip of the NitroAir cartridge or on the o-ring where the cartridge threads in.
DO NOT use petroleum or flammable oils on airguns.

Really, for the price and amount of shots. I'd think most people would jump all over this deal. Juy my opinion, being a older man of wisdom.

Will you be making Nitrogen Cylinders for 12 gram Capsules in future ???

Good question that I'm really unable to answer. What I do know, and admittedly from reading an old Pyramyd blog, is that for use in air pistols, the recommended fill of N2 is 1.8 grams in a 12 gram-sized capsule and it will give you fewer total shots than CO2. The advantage being that it should not lock up the valve in temperatures below the operating temp of CO2.

Can a cartridge be left in the gun for an extended period of time?

It is a PCP rifle and like a PCP rifle it can be left pressurized. We do recommend a drop of silicone oil (like RWS Chamber Lube) on the o-ring that it seats against from time to time.

Good question. On the 1800 psi reg in our testing we regularly get 45 shots. This was confirmed by some American Airgunner people. They stated they were getting 4-1/2 mags and .22 mags hold 10.

are these same threads as a 88g co2?

Good question. The exterior threading is the same. The head of the cartridge is inset. The piercing mechanism has more thread engagement than the standard CO2 piercing mechanism.

Be nice if you could order one but the website says that are sold out. And when you email customer service there is no reply. So don't waste your time.

Yes, it was just introduced. We had a launch date set that coincided with a trade show that we could not move and production crew fell a little behind, so yeah, we sold out very quickly of the first small batch and more are coming. Thanks for your time on this video and comment that helped feed our algorithm. We appreciate it.

Those cylinders on those are like 24 bucks for 2. That's a pretty high price.

This is a great way to get started in the sport who may not have an additional $500 to get a scope and a compressor without creating debt. Low investment.
