It jumped from 7GB to 13GB after I set the time to 1 year in the future and stayed the same when I changed it to 3 months forward (though the overall storage is not reduced in size, only the system storage is increased in number) and then it went back to 7gb after I set it automatically again. I think apple planned to increase system data size for 6GB every year for me LOL

Yours just wasnt bugged to begin with, 7gb seems reasonable for system data

@@heyimadrian.4546 i left it for 30 or so minutes and it is down to 1.5GB, expecting it to go up to 7GB again when I use it to browse socials, youtube and netflix.

@@heyimadrian.4546 I left it for 30 minutes or so and system data is down to just above 1 GB, been using it like usual but it stays 1 GB for now, although I’m not sure for how long.

Followed the steps and cleared around 12.5 gigs.
