Thank you brother Irfan . Very helpful as usual , It would be great if you can take a real example step by step or make a real time video so we can discuss with you the design issues. Interactive live video if possible with a small project supported with autocad work.

If u carefully see the video u will be able to prepare the sprinkler system design. I don’t think there is any need of other video since it covers everything including real time example building. Autocad work cannot be explained since it will take months to complete

How do we size the sprinklers pipes for an extra hazard occupancy using hydraulic method. Since we cannot use the pipe schedule method.

Nice question. Pipe sizing Has to be concluded based on hydraulic calculations… but initially we put the sizes based on pipe schedule (OH) and then will be verified using hydraulic calculations. Is it clear? Or any doubt let me know

Thanks, Eng. Irfan. Do we have to have a check alarm valve at every ZCV? Also, for the hydraulic calculations do we only need to do it for the most remote area? I mean the code requires we put a plate at every ZCV, assuming I have several floors/zones, the plate for hydraulic calculation will it be showing same calculation for that most remote area, or gonna demonstrate the hydraulics design calculation for remote area of that floor/zone only?
