I congratulate you on picking such a topic and speaking openly. I guess it is peer pressure that makes people behave this way. One more thing I have noticed is how many women have offered me advice on dyeing hair after I stopped it 5 years ago due to health reasons. You are made to feel wierd if you don't dye hair, wear makeup or dress in simple Indian clothes ( though you can easily afford it). I think we should respect everyone's choice

I love this video and content.. I am a girl who loves wearing kurta sets with jhumkas... And i have been asked a lot of times about why i wear kurtas when i have a perfectly good body shape, i ahould wear western outfits.. But people never understand that i love wearing a kurta and i feel much comfortable and confident wearing it.. And you are so right.. The same people who used to ask me such questions started wearing kurta sets after pictures of actresses wearing them went viral.. So one should always stick to wearing in what they feel comfortable than blindly following any trend.. Again it doesn't mean that you should not experiment with your looks.. I always carry cloth bags while doing shopping. Use to refuse plastic bags. people says im oldschool i have no idea about the fashion and trends. I just smile at them. It’s been an year or two I am not buying expensive clothes, instead I buy fabrics and gave it to my tailor. Most of them are simple, designed clothes where I saved thousands of rupees. Now I have stocked fabrics(most from my mother’s cupboard) to stitch a lot of new garments, including bags and shoes in this lockdown. I have decided I am not wasting money for new clothes in shops when I can stitch them on my own
