This has to be one of my favourite videos of yours Gabrielle. Recently I have surrendered to the fact that happiness is not a destination. It is not something I aspire to in the future and am working towards. I have everything I need in my life to be happy - good health, love and all the potential and answers within me to have some great experiences. And I can tell you all that when you surrender to that happiness, you can feel it fully. I feel so much lighter in myself and my life and this in turn helps me to bring positive energy into the world. I hope many other people learn to achieve this through your work and videos too. I want to walk in no expectation from others. I lay down my fears and desire to the Lord. He knows best. He will handle it. He will lead me in what my part is and I can walk in His Spirit and be at peace. Surrender it all, yes. The Lord is my Shepherd, i shall not be in want. His will be done.

How much I lost touch with the universe before I hit rock bottom and had to do a 180. It’s even mentioned in the bible in the (not sure how it’s named in English) Mount Sinai Speech. Jesus says that there’s no need to worry about getting what we need, God will give it to us. All we need to do is to trust him.

Surrender is the First Step and Only Step? Just be in a constant state of surrender? In order to attract what the universe has in store for you? I ask this because when i get into surrendered state feeling the Bhakti Beauty in me from God certainly this seems more important than an outcome to have in life . Once i begin to feel this way of course i want to sustain it and make it be how i feel all the time and of course thats not surrender. So the key is to just keep surrendering , Like Treading Water ...Just keep at it cause it will be the only thing that will help you .

Gabby - This was super timely and intriguing! I just finished the book Psycho-Cybernetics, and studying William James the philosopher. They both spoke so much about releasing these expectations and doing our work we should, but letting the outcome go. It helped me a lot with some needless suffering I was experiencing based on attachment to outcomes. This specific quote jumped off the pages to smack me and hopefully can help others! life works. it was designed to work with or without our intervention. we are not making , or causing, or directing how life works. we might think we need to control.... or if we don't control life will fail us somehow. not a chance!. control is fear. life responds in direct relation to your energy. is your energy " fear energy " that life will fail if you don't control it ?.... then life will respond with fear energy right back at you. is your energy that " life's got this " because it was created to have my back and is working in direct response to my energy? then life's got your back in direct response to your trust, and belief that it's life's job to do that. let go. give the responding energy that is life..... a chance and time to do the work it was designed to do. take your mind out of it. peace and love to all of you John A. Hey gabby! I hope you see this. Last year, I found your book "may cause miracles", practiced it, followed my -ing and found my way back in college after 3 years. What I'm finding now is that before I came back to school, I felt so free and full of life and connected to the universe. Now, with a full load of work and constant stress because of my chemistry courses and the shift in lifestyles, I have a hard time being present and peaceful. How can one practice mindfulness and staying present and positive while studying at university? I rarely have time to do the things I enjoy, and when that free time comes all I want to do is scroll through social media. I'm always anxious about wanting school to be over and have my dream job already.
