I have 2001 mercedes s430, blowing hot air and makes hissing sound when turn a/c, please help!

Hey I know that voice! Toyota Maintenance channel ha ha My '05 Subaru Outback XT A/C Control Panel (Climate Control unit) is not turning on at all. I've checked the whole power and ground circuits, voltage, resistance, ground, connectors, etc. They all seem to be fine, still nothing, the Control Panel is not turning on. Any idea what this could be related to?

Does the engine need to be running to get the 12v at yhe compressor?

I cleared my codes but 1419 stayed on, does that mean the electromagnetic clutch is bad and needs replacing, got the e/c light to go off but no cold air, thanks

Hi I have a question related to this in a way. My 1997 e420 blower motor won't work. I already tried replacing it and resistor with the updated design. No luck. So I tested for voltage and had no voltage to the resistor at the smaller control wires but I do at the larger red wire. I then tested fuses 4, 7, and 8 at someone's recommendation elsewhere. No voltage to 7 or 8. Jiggling the key was suggested. No luck. Any thoughts?

How did you clear the codes from the system to make 12 volts go to the compressor on the wire in the car?

I have a problem! I just got a 1996 W210 E320 and my AC doesnt work. The clutch is not engaging. But the EC light is not on and also dont have any error codes in my climate control unit. I also checked the pressure in the system and there was no presurre what so ever. What shoud I do?

Thank you for your video,, my ac has no Freon, shouldn’t my blower motor/ fan still blow & heater still work ? I have no heat or blower motor fan. Any help will be appreciated, Thanks Steve O
