Idk the game, but this way of doing trenches is historically good. In WW1, germans have built trenches like that so it would help against explosions

Don’t dig trenches in straight lines, it allows the enemy to shoot in 1 direction and kill everyone, keep it curvy and more random. Just don’t keep the trenches perfect

Fact - The 'U-shaped- trench was used in WW1 as artillery explosions were less spread out along the trench if they hit directly inside the trench. Same goes for the zig-zag trench layout

It’s mainly to defend against grenades and artillery shells that get in the trench, so you only lose a couple guys instead of an entire section

The w shape is actually really affective because of the shock wave from grenades and explosions can’t move as much as a line trench and the w shape is what the Germans did during WW1 and it was brilliant

Trench digging use is just so underrated in enlisted, u can basically win the game by putting a rally point in a tiny pit and most of the time it makes the "active battle near rally point" and artilery and bombers not affecting that much.

Give defending team more time to set up and defend. Let the offensive team spawn and talk out an attack plan, but there's a "don't advance yet" time of like 180-200 seconds

@@OOGABOOGAdude656 WW2 doesn't really use trenches anymore. They're still exist, mostly near of bunker, but other than that, they're really obsolete and can be break through by the tank. So, trenches warfare fit WWI more than WWII.

The shovel is my favorite tool in enlisted, literally all of my soldiers in all of my squads carry a shovel for some quick defensive entrenchments, and some of the time offensive entrenchments too.

the Zig Zag is a good option if you cant see someone from one end to the other because then you wont be sniped from across the trench. it was actually used in ww1.

@@cardboardking577 it was Sniper's weren't a that level problem back then. Even now it's mostly for anti-artillery purposes. And the next one issue is the corner defencibility against stormtroopers (as they can't see angles)

@@stonedape88 got any suggestions for some? Enlisted was one of the top ww2 games I was thinking of maybe getting with my friends but I wasn’t sure since it is made by Gaijin and War Thunder took half my soul so I want to avoid that mistake again but I’m unsure if enlisted has the same bs.

@@razortheonethelight7303 yea i don’t find it worth it. i like the concept but it turned me off when i needed to have premium to be able to use more squads when i’m in the game. i recommend post scriptum or hell let loose. people actually coordinate together, but unfortunately not too many people play post scriptum which is my favorite so far
