Hi mate, Iv'e taken a D25501 apart, all the grease has leaked through into the motor housing, I've got a new seal (327141-03) to fit but can't remember which way the groove faces up or down? down towards the motor housing or up towards gearbox?

You probably don't need this answer 5 months later, but still: The groove of every oil seal should always face the housing containing the lubricant. The groove is designed to catch the lubricant and keep it in the appropriate housing. In your case, the groove should face the gearbox and not the motor. That way the seal will stop the lubricant from getting into the motor part of your machine. Just carefully tap it into and watch out for getting it not straight.
