A funny way to find your deity is to remember which pantheon you were attracted to as a kid (if there’s one). I was obsessed with ancient Egypt as a child (around 6 years old), and later by Greek pantheon. Now I work with Sekhmet, Isis and Artemis

I hadn't even considered working with deities until I started watching your videos and then I realized that both Artemis and Bast have been leaving clues for me all my life! I don't have an alter yet but fully intend to create space for them and Hestia once I have it set up. One got my attention in a completely different way, similar to your screeching owl experience. We have squirrels that live around my apartment complex and I used to ignore them because they all just dash away whenever anyone gets within 20 feet of them, but while taking out the garbage earlier this week a squirrel dashed in front of me about 6 feet away and then blocked my path. I waited for it to move, then greeted it when it just stayed there. I took a couple small steps thinking it would get spooked, but instead of running away it approached me and stopped less than 2 feet away, stared at me for a few seconds, and then finally scampered away. After finishing my chore I did some research on safe foods and left a gift of almonds near it's tree and it followed me along the nearby fence as I went back home. And another squirrel waited for me at the top of the stairs of my porch and then ran off when I got close so I left more almonds out for that one, too, and then just left more almonds and cut up pieces of apple all along the area for the various squirrels. I don't know exactly what it means yet, but obviously something was trying to get my attention. When I researched deities the only thing I could find was Ratatoskr, which is linked to either Odin or Heimdall. After looking more into the Norse gods, I think it might have been Heimdall. If it is, then it just continues the pattern of deities I feel pulled to since they all specialize in protection of some sort. I am still just in the observe and research phase of all this, but will just keep taking in information and researching the deities until it's time to do more.

I have to say, the most flashy introduction I have EVER gotten from a deity was from Hermes. No joke, I was on my way home one evening when a flippin HAWK dive bombs my windshield. I was scared af at first, washed to see if the bird was okay, and it was. Later on I laughed about getting the sheet scared out of me by a bird diving into my windshield. Come to see that birds associated with Hermes are Hawks. What can I say Hermes has helped me get a job, and a stable income.. gotta give it up for the god of commerce here!

I currently work with my angels and guides. The idea of working with a deity keeps coming in my mind, but as I’m looking into it, I’m realizing that I have commitment issues. And I don’t want anybody looking at me sideways 😆 When I think about it, I light up thinking about Thoth, Artemis, and Aphrodite but I always thought that was just bias from how I learned about them as a kid. Also, Wendy Rules song “Hecate” makes me tingle and I have a very vivid memory of when I first heard that song. Anyway, thank you for this awesome video!

Ugh FINALLY. I'm so happy I found your videos! I can not tell you how many videos on Wicca I have watched trying to find good information or reliable book sources on wicca. First off, every youtuber I've watched is like "you have to pick a pantheon, you need a matron goddess/god. You need to work with all these deities. I love how you said, I don't have to. I can just work with the goddess and god as themselves instead of different aspects of them. That is what I feel most comfortable with (at least at this point) , but every wiccan video I have seen (which has been A LOT) has not stated this, like I couldn't or shouldn't do this. So THANK YOU for validating that this is okay. Secondly, love your book videos. It's been tough trying to find books that will go beyond the basics. It feels like most I've come across or seen recommended are beginner only books and doesn't delve further into wicca. SO THANK YOU.

I had an obsession with vampires when I was a kid, to the point that I wanted to become one, get my teeth done, wanted to marry one, lol, and read all of Anne Rice's books, saw the adaptations of the movies of her books, and any other vampire movies. Loved Blade and got caught up with Twilight lol! I also grew up Christian and was fascinated by her then. Upon really studying my astrological chart last year, I discovered that I have Lilith in the 1H and she aspects my MC, IC, Mercury (which creates a T-Square, with her at the apex), and Vesta as far as my major aspects, and she quintiles my Sun. As a child, I had an encounter with a Barn Owl. The thing is, to this day, I can still clearly see the image of that owl. Until your video, I had no idea there was a connection to Lilith. Now, I'm thinking about all the other random encounters I've had with owls, including one last week. Lilith was calling, and I completely missed it. Thank you for a truly enlightening video!

So questions on Bast. I run into cats everywhere and cats gravitate to me. I got a small statue of her when I was about 10, and when my first cat Minerva passed away when I was 19, I got another cat who I renamed Bast. Where this cat comes in is, I've read Nergal is often associated with black Bombay cats which is what my cat Bast is, and they're extremely rare especially here in the states. So I'm confused about what to do with this but I really resonate with them both.

For a few years back until now, I've had dreams about snakes following me and attempt to enter my house once (but my parents kicked it out). I feel such a strong pull towards Lilith and she has introduced myself but how do I know if it was her or just another spirit manipulating me and pretending to be her? I have always felt a strong connection to snakes (tattoos, jewelry, art, clothes with snakes on them, I even want a pet snake). I know Lilith can be associated with snakes. I have a pisces moon in the eighth house along with a scorpio sun and mercury, and I feel like those placements resonate with Lilith's energy. I have always been extremely connected with my shadow self and I analyze (and psychoanalyze) the darker sides of myself and others. I am extremely comfortable with taboo subjects. I have always been rebellious to say the least. I have had problems with an emotionally manipulative yet distant mother and an absent father who would come into my life just long enough that I would get attached and then he would leave. He would put his MANY wives (of a few months) over me and allow them to make the rules. I have had struggles with each of his wife's and they would verbally and mentally manipulate and abuse me. I have tons of trauma ASIDE from all of that. I am bipolar, and I have always felt a strong connection to the moon because the moon goes through phases just like me. I am more attracted to silver than gold. I come from a christian family with a minister stepdad but I am extremely interested in spirituality, witchcraft, and the occult. I am drawn to sex magic, blood magic, manifestation, and dark magic. I have always been creative and I have always done music (I play 10 instruments and was in choir for 8 years) and I write. I am so drawn to astrology and I absolutely love the stars. I feel the most comfortable and alive at night (my sleep schedule is terrible) and I absolutely adore thunderstorms and standing in the rain. I am clairaudient and claircognizant. For these reasons, along with any "negative" traits I have that do NOT align with Lilith's energy that I would love to work on with her, I feel such a strong pull and connection to Lilith. I just want to know that when im working with her, that im actually working with HER and not a demon or manipulative spirit pretending to be her. I want to devote myself to her and trust in her fully but I just want to make sure.

When I was younger I would look up in the sky and see a Constellation of a dog with like a leash thing and when I went to my grandmas and my great grandmas I would see the same thing but sometimes I would see three dogs and a man like figure holding them on a leash like thing so I have been thinking that maybe that was hades calling out to me?

i constantly see foxes. when i broke up with my first boyfriend, a red fox crossed my path on the way home. when i saw my best friend for the first time in a year we saw a fox running alongside his car. when i got up to watch the sunrise on the last day of winter a fox ran by me about a few feet away (similar to the owl you described), stared at me for a good 30 seconds, then ran off. I’ve looked up which deities are associated with foxes but there are many. do you have any idea of which deity could be trying to reach out?
