PLEASE READ THIS: Real silk worm farmers will not kill their silk worms. These moths are man made, they are not found in the wild, they can't even fly. This video didn't show they were already dead, they opened up a cocoon and showed a pupa, these are the mid transforming stage and are still. Look it up. They boiled all these babies to kill them then pulled them out. Real silk farmers will never kill their moths, they will raise them to adulthood, pair them together to mate and lay more eggs. After they hatch they then can harvest the cocoons. Each silk moth can lay hundreds of eggs each if it survives creating more silk moths. There is zero reason to kill them like this and it is viewed as a waste. Even the big factories will harvest the pupas from the cocoons after 4 days SAVING them to store and raise in a clement controlled space. If every silk farmer killed off their silk worms, we would run out of silk in one year.

You never raised silk months have you? Most will you know, raise them, let them hatch so they can breed and lay eggs, to you know, make MORE silk moths thus MORE cocoons.. They are NOT bred to just 'die'. There's no point or reason to kill them as that defeats the point of having them. Oh you killed them all, Welp no more silk! How do you think people get the cocoons in the first place? They don't just appear in thin air. These months don't exist in the wild, they are purely man made and bred for their silk, they can't even fly.

Из коконов добывают шёлковую нить,создают шёлковую ткань......А тут -просто наполнитель для подушки ...,для кота.....Можно было кота вычесать,и прекрасная подушка получилась бы(и не надо было бы шелкопрядов убивать)

Идиократия. Их варят вместе с личинками для того чтобы не рвать кокон, чтобы нить не повредить и вытянуть максимальную длину. А если вам для наполнителя нить нужна была, тогда можно было не губить столько животных.

Я вас очень удивлю, что большая часть личинок не могут сформироваться из-за отсутствия полезных веществ или из-за присутствия дефектов. Они умирают ещё до этого процесса. Это во-первых, во вторых, оооочень мало видов насекомых по-настоящему чувствуют боль и мотыльки к ним не относятся. В-третьих, это не тот вид существ, о которых есть смысл беспокоиться. Их специально эволюционировали так, что бы этот процесс был более гуманным. Хотя, я не понимаю, зачем вообще симпатизировать насекомым, которые не имеют какие либо чувства, эмоции или самоосознание.
