This is awesome👏👏👏............thank God I found this!!!.......I have a show coming up in September, my trainer always emphasizes that we keep our hair open, but one of the designers prefers my hair braided for her collection..........I've made an extension earlier this year, still love it - still rock it (done a couple of shoots in it)......so I very much welcome this new challenge🤗🤗🤗.......I'm gonna find me a wig cap and DIY this , sooooo excited💅💃💃💃....and if it turns out great bruh, i'll be living in conrows for the rest of the year🤪 coz nowadays I find that I have zero patience for braiding my actual hair - I mean I haven't been to a hair salon since 2018 when I perfected braiding my own hair and styling my natural hair

I recently cut my hair very low for the reason of slight laziness but also because when I had longer hair it was badly damaged and now so is my scalp due to very tight braids previously, I stupidly went and bought tons of braiding hair in hopes that my sister would do crotchet braids which look less tight but still manageable, that was at least two years ago. So this is a great alternative plus my hair/ head won't have to take anymore damage and I can finally go completely bald if I want ❤❤❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉🎉

Awesome sister I am a formal haidresser/ barber from the 80's I guess for me who really don't know how to braid maybe I would crochet as much of the back or glue w/ hot gun after splitting chrochet braid in half in the noose area & then learning how to Box Braid to finish the top and part area cuz Nothing can top the look of realness & authenticty the braids look in that area I hope your finances are streaming in cuz this is soooo creative

I can’t express how much gratitude I have for you & the making of this video ❤❤ for those (like me) who’ve experienced hair loss I still wanted to rock braids but due to alopecia areata, I had to cut my hair. Am growing back but not long enough for braids. I’m going to do this and be determined. Thank you for the inspiration. I also can make my grandma one as well due to her alopecia. This is dope 👏🏽

You can braid directly on your wig cap but might not achieve the same realistic look. The net or ventilating cap gives a scalp look.

Did I miss a step? It looked like you used a black cap but when it got to the top it looked like the black part was cut off, then at the top it looked like a lighter cap was used so that the part looked natural. Can someone please clarify this part for me? Thank you in advance.
