@@kisse1520 Most of those aren’t from gymnasts, they are just people that are flippers. So all they learn is tumbling (self taught). They dont have actual instruction/advice from other folks.

BEST BACKHANDSPRING TUTORIAL ON YT SO FAR ❤ Most of them is like "swing your arms and jump on your hands" or "take a spotter and do a backhandspring". I think I will get it this way because I got my back limber.

I have been trying to do a backhand spring on the ground for 2 years now. I have always been so scared of jump back. This video has helped me so much and now I can even do a round off backhand spring!! Thank you for being such an inspiration.

I am already a cheerleader, but unfortunately i can’t get onto this higher level bc I don’t have my back handspring yet, but if I were older and I didnt have it, I would be able to be on that team.. and all I really wanted to to was stunting but im trying my hardest to get it now!! I think I just don’t have enough back and shoulder flexibility, because I just go back and find my arms in front of my ears again... It also hurts my wrists and lower arms because I land with a lot of weight and can’t pop off🤔 do you have any tips?

Yea, thats mostly your shoulder flexibility, I suggest maybe searching up lots of different shoulder flexibility exercises you can do and also when you try it, try to think about pushing them back and make them be in your view. For you wrists either you can try to buy sports tape and put it around your wrists if you just have sore wrists but if its just because your wrists aren't that strong, you should search up wrist/forearm strengthening videos and do those and also just practice a bit of the jumping into a handstand. I hope this helps:)

This was actually really helpful. Most people talk about getting a spotter but I couldn't manage to find one and when I did, I always failed when the spotter told me I could do it on my own and this helped me get it without a spot and worked so well. Thanks!

Thank u soo much I got it in 5 mins and I was trying to get my backhand spring for 5 months and started training for back hand spring 14/4/18 and my coach said it can take a year but wher I got home from practice I started to try to get it on my mat and I did thank u!!u are GOD

try keeping your arms straight it applies less pressure on your elbows

PSA Please read if you are going to try:Warning if you try this method your back handsprings will be undercut You can try this method if you’re just trying to impress your friends but if you are in gymnastics/cheer I highly recommend you don’t try this as it will be more like A jumping back limber when it should be more like a flip. You can do what ever you want but I just highly recommend it Anyways may your back handspring come to you soon😀 if you’ve read this far here’s a cookie🍪

Omfg this helped me so much other videos just showed the beginning on a back handspring and the end. They just say get a spotter or some pillows and just go backwards. I was struggling to find a video that showed me how to eventually jump backwards u helped me with my mental blocks thx 👍🏽

THIS IS AMAZING just by looking at this I probably gonna get my back handspring the other ones are just 1: stretch 1: have a spot 3: don’t be scared 4: keep your legs locked 5: go for it like that’s not helping but right here it does I even got my split and bow and arrow because of this girl she’s amazing

And another tip is if you have a panel mat, to fold it up and make it high, then do those back limber steps and slowly take it down it made it easier for me and it maybe will for you! AND if your scared to jump onto your hands, start small and think positive as long as you know how to do a back limber nothing will happen unless youre not stretched!!!
