Dad here, I braid my daughter's hair before bed to stop it from tangling so bad in her sleep (she's 12, I've done it her entire life). Decided to try something new and this looks pretty straightforward. Great video, thanks for posting!

This is such a great tutorial. I am 35 and have never been able to French braid my own hair. After watching your video, I was able to do it really well the first time I tried! For some reason I think it helped that I did not look in the mirror.

I did finally did it! I watched so many other videos and still couldn’t get it. Now I know what to do. My daughters hair is very long down her back and curly so I had the brush and smooth every strand as I added it to the braid. I can finally do it after finding your video 😊. It was seeing your hands up close and how you hold the hair with it that helped me. Thank you sooo much.

You aren't actually supposed to comb curly hair. Just keep it hydrated and use your fingers.

I did it fir the first time today and though it wasn't as neat as you made it, I think it came out pretty well. Thank you so much for this video. I never learned how to French braid when I was younger and must of my friends knew how. I am a preschool teacher and I occasionally have to fix and if my girls hair and I usually do a quick ponytail. But now I have a 3 year old daughter and figure it's about time I learn how to French braid! I've never been able to French braid, but I can do the normal braid. I've watched some French braid videos, so I know the idea and what to do, but just couldn't get the braid started; how much to hold, the position and figuring how to hold it etc. But this was very nice and simple and CLEAR! I think your daughter's fine sleek hair helped show each section so nicely. 😁 So, today I actually completed my first French braid and it wasn't too bad!! I'm very proud of myself and thank you THANK you for this video!! 🙏🤩🤗💓

My mom never did stuff like this for my sister and i so now that i have a girl i have no idea about anything hair style related really. Her hair goes to her waist and she will come home with it braided by her teacher who always does amazing so im trying to learn how to do it myself. Try using a spray bottle or hairspray to hold down the flyaways and to tame the frizziness :)

I wish I had her hair, my hair is thick and poofy! Whenever I do a French braid I look like a lion because my hair is also very frizzy and it sticks up in all directions. Agh!
