Great job sunshine. I remember watching my dad create our walkway and patio when I was quite young. No molds just squares. Tinted cement to boot. Looked great. Being a girl, he was old fashion, I did not get to help him. Lol. Thanks. New subscriber. 💚🇨🇦

I just watched a video these guys used that plastic mold.looked great after. A commenter on that video said he made many separate molds and it took him mo the to do it. These guys made the walkway in a couple days. I live in a freeze /thaw climate and my sister said put a few drops of dishsoap IN the cement mixture and it stops the cement from cracking in clod climates.

Excellent work! Looks so neat! For me, I would have just dragged the sponge over the surface very lightly with the same color choices so I wouldn't fill in what would be the 'mortar' lines. Al-in-all, your way still looks great! Thanks for the cool vid! 👍😎 A+

Oh, I like that! Like those type of stamps. These look much easier to use. Put down cement and stamp it rather than put down a plastic mold, fill it with cement and wait for cement to start to harden before moving on.

By now there's crack joints on this slab, with every slab core you NEED to install wire mesh or rebar to tolerate crack control joints, but what do I know, I'm just a Concrete Forming Especialist

Great work! But a tip for you, I noticed the 2nd and 3rd rows of imprint were identical, it formed a 'repeating pattern' which stands out as not natural in that kind of traditional paving. Simply vary the placement of the mold by staggering it on each row, you could even rotate it 180 degrees. So each row is different and no easily visible repeating pattern forms. 👍😎

I totally agree with you. Wonder what it would look like at a 45 degree🤔. I done a un-square room and you can’t tell anything is wrong.
