I did this method a couple months back and left them in for abt a month I really didn’t know what I was doing tbh but I love the way they look it’s just so hard to get the parts right and my hair is not as thick so I’m debating on doing coils instead?

This is amazing. Thank you for sharing! What's the maintenance on this? Do you palm roll it? How long should the client go before the first retwist? How many hours did this take? So many questions 😅.

Thank you ❤️. Yes palm roll can be done, there's no specific time to Retwist after , but i suggest 4 weeks . It took 5 hours . Its still a process after so crotchet maintenance is still recommended after

Get them from the coils, unless you want to change your parting size or pattern

I know this is last-minute but I’m supposed to be locking my friends hair in a day and wanted to know if this is the best method? ( i’m a beginner) also is mango and lime gel good for the process?

Yes, its the best and quickest way if you wants to loc the hair instantly, mango and lime is a no for me, it causes alot of build up in the hair.

No you keep 90%of your length. Comb coils you saw a lot of shrinkage
